1. WHERE IS THE LOGIC
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (05.05.09)
When responding to Assad's suggestion,USA feels that the Hamas and Hizbullah's are terror organisation whilst requesting Assad to use his influence to request these organisation to play a 'constructive' role.Well, can these organisation whom you refer to as terrorist change to suddenly play a constructive role??And when you say constructive, what exactly do you mean?A role in which these two organisations are supposed to play the American tune??Is that what you call 'constructive'?
2. Obama responding to the bantar of a Dictator!
Marcus Mann ,   USA   (05.05.09)
Obama thinks he can wave a magic wand and make everyone as smart as he is. NOT The State Departpartment responding to this has the President's fingerprints all over it.
3. Assad's only friends are terrorists. Does anyone seriously
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (05.05.09)
expect him to turn into a lamb? He is a DICTATOR, a man who is afraid he will be overthrown if syrians can fully access the internet. You can't buy him, you can't convince him, he is the son of a terrorist and he learned well from his daddy.

constructive, in case you need a repetition, is to stop meddling in my country's political structure. to stop shelling israeli northern towns, to stop shelling israeli southern towns, to stop attacking other arabs that do not agree with these terrorists' policies and charters, to stop murdering their own people and jews. what don't you understand, unless you possess the brain the size of a pea.....which is very much in fashion in the middle east as we know it. vivienne, beirut, lebanon
5. To #1: Here is the logic
Frank ,   Canada   (05.05.09)
When you hear stop supporting terror, it means that Arabs must stop supporting themselves.
6. #1 - the logic is never found in anything you post....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (05.05.09)
you big moron. Neither the US nor Israel is going to meet the murderers at the table unless they stop being murderers. If that is the American tune, then yes, that would be constructive.
7. Take note all you disappointed arabists....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (05.05.09)
who think Obama is a big pussy.

america will be talking with hamas and hizballah

Aaron ,   SF, USA   (05.05.09)
....It's as simple as this: Assad: Hizbullah, Hamas....please, stop smuggling Qassams, shooting rockets, and using MY country as a base for planning actions against Israel and possibly America. It really is....that easy. Assad's power is being undermined by these groups, not by the U.S. Gangs in South Central threaten LAPD's sovereignty...if Beverly Hills PD were to tell LAPD to handle the situation better, it is not BHPD's mistake and the comment is not offensive. EVERY nation leader has a responsibility for peace and security, domestic or foreign. Harboring groups whose charter calls for violence and destruction is aiding and abetting terrorists!
11. #1 - MAHMOOD, Yes, this is Obama in action...
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (05.05.09)
... it's Bush's vision for the Mid East, but with a slicker, shinier coating on it. This isn't "Change We Can Believe In"...

I'm trying to understand your concern. I think it's fair to say that Hamas and Hezbollah up until now have not exactly been playing a constructive role in peacemaking. Israel will never back down over threats or violence itself. Is it not preferable for everyone to resolve everything peacefully? If they do not want to resolve anything peacefully (or unreasonably like Israel disappearing) then what is there to talk about?
13. STUPID STUIP STUPID
ghostq   (05.05.09)
the america can't see that Asad is the big boss behind thos orgs, he is standing right infront of them and they ask him to address forign orgs such as hizb, the americans don't know what they r doing, r they.

SCHMUEL ,   BALTIMORE   (05.05.09)
obama will give bibi his marching orders and send him home to do americas bidding, he already made bibi give back lebanon territory as a requirement for even allowing bibi to come to washington.
15. Wow - A Miracle!!

MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (05.05.09)
Bigger than mine but it appears that you don't even have it at all.If you were to list all that is supposed to happen than I am afraid you are talking to the wrong people.Look at the list of things that you have scribbled and wonder why whatever is going on is arbitrary or is in direct response to the activities by the other party. It is NOT a unilateral course of action.See if there is anything that alerts you.
18. YOUR BRINGING UP........................#6
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (05.05.09)
Should have been like the way you write. No problems at all but if you get a chance, atleast improve your language. You wrote what you did but time will prove when ,yes, your leaders will have to sit with these resistance organisation. Not terrorist, sorry.
