2. UN condems IDF
Alon Frank ,   Beth Shemesh, Israel   (05.05.09)
Suprised? I am not !!! The UN is always against Israel. They know very well that the Hamas terrorist were shooting from their buildings. Shame on you UN !! You're picking an easy victim. You're afraid of the radical Muslims.
3. #2 Afraid of RADICAL muslims
Rozz   (05.05.09)
You appear to be blind Mr. Ban Ki Moon. You? afraid of radical muslims..... rather, afraid of muslims in general. Just like the rest of the "civilized" world, you almost do it in your pants when you see a raghead.
4. IDF did better in Gaza than UN in Rwanda
Samuel Prime ,   Canada   (05.05.09)
The UN behaves as if Israel has no enemies in the region and that it has not been threatened by a number of serious entities that threaten the Middle East---not just Israel. The UN report comes as no surprise since it fits in perfectly with the organization's many other failures (e.g. racism conference, Lebanon, and Sudan).
5. #2 - The UN IS run by radical Muslims...
Laura ,   Israel   (05.05.09)
and their dhimmi sycophants. Enough already. Israel should leave the UN.
6. Hot topic now. Paki Taliban war!
Rehavam ,   Israel   (05.05.09)
I bet you anything Casualties well OVER 2000. And same suicide bombers and human shields. Will UN EVER notice? Also Gruzia Russia war Over 2000 casualties in FIRST 24 hours. Who care? UN got to blame jews... what else new?
7. #1 - No, his name is Ian Martin not Ahmed
Objectivity ,   Cape Town   (05.05.09)
One of the biggest problem with Israel is its refusal to accept criticism when it does wrong. It seems to continously require a 'but' hamas this and hamas that clause after everything. This is counter productive. People will respect you much more when you just admit, "yeah ok, we $$%^ed up. We were in a tight spot and things got out of hand". What I cannot accept is a nation that is SO patriotic that it supports EVERY action committed blindly and has several catch phrases that are lobbed at every turn. It's gotten so bad that you even reject Richard Goldstone (a respected Jewish judge) to head an inquiry. Ask yourself, when you won't permit even your own people to judge you, what have you become? I suppose this is all Hamas' fault isn't it?
8. Liberal position
Alexandre Chinovich   (05.05.09)
Those liberals (at someone another's account) never condemn Pals, Iranians, Somalis, etc. Why? They do not consider the Muslims as humans. No sense in accusing wolves or swarms of locust.
9. to #7 not
ghostq   (05.05.09)
the person that sign on the report but the person who stand behind the inquiry, two different things, and as a double standard the un declaired Hamas as terror org but it doesn't condamn or inquir hamas. something is rotten in the UN. and I am not talking about UNRWA that employ palis with political stances.
10. is it civilians hiding in United Nations facilities OR
observer   (05.05.09)
it's United Nations facilities hiding behind civilians?
11. to #10 lol no just the few who carry weapons.
ghostq   (05.05.09)
12. To #7 "Objectivity", or whatever nonsense...You are either..
Frankie Abulafia ,   Jerusalem   (05.05.09)
...completely clueless, or just purposely blind. Ian Martin, the former head of Amnesty International, is as biased against Israel (if not more so) than the radical Islamists and despotic Arab rulers who make up the bulk of the UN. Amnesty International, much like the UN, has made millions and millions of dollars wagging their meaningless finger at Israel, and rarely anyone else. It's almost comical that he would be the man behind the report. Martin's "objectivity" when it comes to the Jewish State is about as relevant as a South African taking out his apartheid guilt on us. Save it for the townships, boss.
13. UN/Red Crescent Ambulances Used as WEAPONS of WAR
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.05.09)
Terrorists are sometimes the ambulance drivers. Shots have been fired from Red Crescent ambulances. Red Crescent ambulances have been frequently used to transport guns, bombs and explosive belts. Explosive belts have been found under the stretchers of sick children. A U.N. ambulance, owned and operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), was used by armed terrorists in Gaza as getaway transportation after murdering six Israeli soldiers in Gaza City on May 11, 2004.
