maybe this needs to be reworded since translation in another country could be misled. saying they were jailed for denying the holocaust in some countries means loss of free speech. maybe promoting a fourth reich would be a better wording. my family was killed by nazi in 1970. i am an adopted child to an american family while my grandfather led to his death. they still kill maim and try to destroy. maybe we just reword it maybe trying to create world war III. thanks Karoon

I suppose "Free Speech" is lost. When only ONE ideal can be held without repercussion or "Jail time" it is NOT about Free Speech, but about Censorship. Why? Is there something to hide? Regardless of the content, everyone has the RIGHT to their opinion and to voice it, even about the so called "Holocaust". Denial of the right to voice an opinion is hypocrisy.
4. "so called holocaust."

Craig - I was nodding in agreement with your comment until I got to "so called holocaust." Sure, you can characterize the Shoah anyway you wish with no regard for evidence, factual data, eyewitness testimony etc.. However, in doing so, you reveal yourself to have a nefarious agenda and look like a jackbooted jerk to boot.

There is no loss of free speech here. You should know that there is free speech and there is slander. There is free speech and there is libel. The instant case, denial of the Holocaust, is license, not free speech. It also happens to be dissemination of false information. Normal, educated people would discount his website as pure trash. But there are a lot of gullible people out there who may not be able to distinguish a legitimate website from one that isn't. I think, given Austria's history, that they have a perfect right to protect such gullible people from having their minds poisoned by a hate-mongering, Holocaust-denying neo-Nazi.

7. Ahmadinejad's suggestion of those murdered.
Aaron ,   SF, USA   (05.13.09)
is the least fact based conclusion I have ever heard. The German's themselves kept track of how many people they murdered and 2000 people was the amount that got massacred on a slow day.

The more that people are jailed for their free speech and free thought beliefs, the more people believe that something is being hidden.

of Desperation... It must be closely liked to 'Thought Control' If the Authorities are so Desperate for us to believe it.. It Meerely begs the Question ... Why? Does the Zionist State feel Threatened d by those free thinkers who...'Think outside the Box' An event that happened 70 years ago.. has very little relevance now.. afterall.. havent Holocaust happened to other peoples both before and since 70 years ago... Why do I never hear what happened to the Ibos when they suffered their Holocaust.. Who cares?

If this man is put in prison for what he did in the video, than that is a crime of it;s self. At no time was he being hateful, but rather critical of Jews and Israel for what has been done to the native population by Europeans of Jewish faith. What he said is no where near the hateful things posted on this website.
