2. Thank you Mr Minister for showing you have guts
Al   (05.19.09)
Its about time the reps of the Jewish State stand up and tell it as it is. \ Enough of the brown nosing and diplomatic blabber. If it makes them uncomfortable so what. Its high time we Jews stop being a bunch of saps.
3. Israel has saved the lives of countless arabs, some

terrorists some innocent civilians. Israel has saved the lives of millions and millions of people worldwide with medical breakthroughs. And, no arab country has ever done one millionth as much for the world. Recognition is not "owed" but its nice to have it pointed out to those who would love to hate the Jews.
4. Even on non-partisan matters of global health, Pals hijack
William ,   Israel   (05.19.09)
How does this look on the part of the Pals? No matter what the venue or the topic, they will use it to vilify Israel. How ironic that Pals took the WHO meeting to condemn Israel, the country who has provided medical care to their citizens, even the terrorists, a free clinic to Gazans during the war, provided emergency complex surgery to Pal children (and that of other Arabs), and cancer treatment. All this while Fatah and Hamas fight over who to transfer for external healthcare as their patients lay dying slowly. What do we get in response? Condemnation. Denials that Israel really helps them. Attacks on Israeli Red Cross personnel after suicide attacks. Patients who return to kill the very doctors that cured them. Israel's posture remained professional and focused during the event.
5. walking out?
Markus   (05.19.09)
why walk out? I was under the impression this was about health- instead it was turned into a religious and political statement- so who was the first one to walk out this time? Don't blame the second group for walking out then- tit for tat- just like children.
6. Albert Sabin
Pedro ,   Brazil   (05.19.09)
Albert Sabin (polio vacine) married a Brazilian woman and every time he arrived here in Brazil he was very well welcome at airport with flowers by groups of young students from public schools.
7. #6 - why wouldn't he be welcome?
