Marcel ,   Florida   (05.21.09)
Too bad Israel is stuck in a morasss of it's own stupidity and forgot the concept of defeating ones enemies before talking peace on their terms not the losers terms. How did ISRAEL get this stupid ? Was it from ignoring HaShem and His word ?
2. #1 - and the allies got it right after WW2

3. who to believe ?
Michael ,   Haifa   (05.21.09)
Lieberman used to be a really tough nightclub bouncer, but I suspect that Obama may be even tougher. So I accept Obama's view on the settlements...he has more going for him, (and also happens to be right)
4. #2 allies
American ,   New York   (05.21.09)
Do you mean by immediately supporting ex-Nazis in a common fight against communism, which ultimately led to a united, economically powerful Jew-free Germany?
5. perpetual war
Richard   (05.21.09)
The US wants perpetual war in the middle east. The US legislature has no intention of allowing Israel to live in peace.
6. Palestinians are their own obstruction
JPS ,   Efrat   (05.21.09)
Who needs settlements to "block" the peace process when the Palestinians have themselves? They wave the red herring in front of the world's nose all the time. And they're successful at it too! All the world smells is the dead fish smell of the Pal's red herring, now mouldering in their grubby hands nigh on 20 years. Really, how many people smell the Palestinians own soiled laundry that they wear every day of the week without change? The corrupt and incompetent Fatah in the west bank and the islamofascist and incompetent Hamas in Gaza. Peace? With the democratically elected representatives of the Palestinian people? Whoops...that would be Hamas, wouldn't it - the same guys who say on record every week that they will "never" make peace with Israel. The world might not like Lieberman, but his logic in this case is right on.
7. Back then
Giora Me'ir ,   USA   (05.21.09)
the Arab states did not offer full recognition in return for those very same lines. What a putz.
8. #7 - who is the putz?
MichaelNYC ,   NY USA   (05.23.09)
You are calling Foreign Minister Lieberman a putz and you are the one who doesn't understand that the Arabs promise of "full recognition" is meaningless? Under Islam promises made to infidel enemies are worthless - read the koran and the hadith you putz! Start by reading jihadwatch.org get an education about these people and then open your mouth to talk. Learn what taqiya mean. Do you know that Muhamed, may peace never be upon him (what the censors take this out, where is my freedom of speech?) is only mentioned in the Koran about 5 times and Moses over 100 times? The Muslims are obsessed with the Jews in a very sick way. Lieberman understands this you don't, you putz!
