1. Just keep building, there will be no peace agreement anyway.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (05.24.09)
obumma can rant and fume, he is an arab and they are expert at that.
2. Obama administration
israeli ,   israel   (05.24.09)
is a here today gone tomorrow kind of thingy. Let them solve America's problems first. Such as provide housing for thousands of Katrina victims, among other things. Besides, are there no Palestinian obligations under the Road Map? Let's see some good will gestures from the Palestinians for a change.
3. Stupid goes clear to the bone.
Gideon Reader   (05.24.09)
The impressive ability of ZerObama to smoothly read from a teleprompter and turn his head from side to side mixed with his general ignorance and non-existant competence, excepting what appears to be terminal long sindedness, will shortly fill his full day (and most likely nights)as he tries to salvage the vestiges of his nation(which he almost single handedly has destroyed). So Israel,...ignore this mouth running dullard, with not particular skills other than prehaps "community organization"; and build, BUILD, B-U-I-L-D! He(ZerObama)will be too busy concerning himself with the American peasantry and their pitchforks and torches.
4. Perhaps the US should remember --
Ely greenhut ,   Tzfat Israel   (05.24.09)
What they did to the American Indians who lived in peace for thousands of years on the land the Us took away BY FORCE. Obama, if you think Israel should give away its own land then give back the land you forcibly took from the American Indians.
5. Hey Ynet - did you know that you have a Google-sponsored ad
Frankie Abulafia ,   Jerusalem   (05.24.09)
...right up above these talkbacks from a site called www.Islamonline under the title "The Ailing City - Al Quds under Judaization. What can we do?" My guess is what they always do, blow up innocent people and blame it on the Jews, but hey, what do I know? Awesome ads though, I'm thinking about taking one of my own out. It's going to be called: "Jerusalem, the Eternal Capital of the Jewish People. Don't Like it, come over and ask for Frankie." Oh and for the settlements, tell B. Hussein to come see me at my summer home in Ofra - we just added a deck and a hot tub. How's that for natural growth?
6. Israel please just build whatever you need for our people
Alan ,   SA   (05.24.09)
7. Who cares about the jihadist in the Oval office?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (05.24.09)
b.o. will be gone soon, 2013 is not that far away. clinton can get on her broomstick and fly all over the middle east. But they are the enemy of the Jewish people and they will try to destroy Israel. But we will be around after these two and their anti Zionist reich are gone. Get rid of the illegal arab settlements on our Jewish land.
8. Obama weakens another pillar of his office
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.24.09)
For someone claimed to be so smart, Obama - together with his team - is prone to short-term policies with long-term implications. After the White House pushed the Chrysler deal that stiffed secured creditors - violating both the rule of law built into the contracts and established bankruptcy law - investors can no longer trust that any deal they make won't be torpedoed by the government. Likewise, though it may not have been a formal agreement, Israel relied on the commitment of the President in his letter of 2004 regarding both settlements and the return of refugees. If Obama's team sees fit to ignore the commitment made by his predecessor (as even Rice tried to do in 2008), of what value is the word of any President?
9. So if Pres Bush agreement not honoured ,why honour Obama's
Alan ,   SA   (05.24.09)
10. this US gov want to pleased arab request on the back of isra
dovdevan ,   paris,france   (05.24.09)
give this land to hamastan that's what the obama administration is trying to tell us ! the same kind of error that was made with gaza ! give the land to the weak palestinian Abbas that will be overthrow 6 month later by hamas ! this administration is obsessed by one thing to pleased the arabs on the back of israel !

12. He's pres. of the US but NOT ISRAEL
BB ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.24.09)
Don't give us orders. We don't need you.
13. Just like Hamas - not bound by prior agreements. HELP
rebecca ,   modiin   (05.24.09)
14. I think to myself sometimes...
Ypip ,   Canada   (05.24.09)
15. Wait until the mid-term elections
Former Dem ,   USA   (05.24.09)
The Dems are gonna pay big time for Obama/Clinton's arrogance. Freeze the settlements? How about we freeze new construction in Mecca and Arlington National Cemetery too? I cannot wait until both houses go GOP again.
16. the signs are all there for you to see
jack bauer   (05.25.09)
bo and the ilk in charge are not on Israels side, no matter what they say to fool you all the actions they take are taken with the intent to destroy Israel and the Jewish homeland in an effort to placate the Islamic world soon enought it will become apparent that it is impossible to placate Islam and the world will be forced to bow down before their heathen agenda
17. Unwritten agreements
Gary Glaser ,   Hutchinson, MN, USA   (05.25.09)
I guess if Obama isn't going to recognize an agreement made by a previous adminisstration, I guess it is certainly OK for Netanyahu to ignore any agreement that might have been made by any of Israel's previous governments.
18. As long as Israel abides with the writtenones
lydia   (05.25.09)
19. 3 Sharon didn't tell Obama that he control the US
lydia ,   Brisbane   (05.25.09)
and since Sharon is an Iranian induced coma and Bush is no longer on the throne, one can't expect an esteemed law professor and POTUS to rule on an agreement neither written or notarized between Sharon and Bush. "What is he an Arab?" ROFLMAO
20. 16U brought it on yourself, ignoring Int. laws
lydia ,   Brisbane   (05.25.09)
Israel has ignored more Int. Law than Saddam yet Saddam lost his life at the end of a noose. All Obama can do is to see that Int. Laws are enforced and violators are punished. Israel signed a treaty with the Arabs and no about of trickery to circumvent the terms and conditions can obfuscate the facts. Talk Peace!
