Both nations are signatories to the NPT and are REQUIRED to assist each other with nuclear technology and material including uranium, so there is nothing to complain about. The article claims that Venezuela is helping Iran circumvent UNSC economic sanctions - so what? Those sanctions are ILLEGAL. If Iran has a legal right to conduct nuclear activity under an international treaty, then any action to try and curtail or prevent that legal activity is itself illegal and should be ignored and that is exactly what Iran is doing. The article states that Chavez and Ahmedinjad have the goal of defying the USA. They are quite right in doing so, as the USA is trying to illegally coerce Iran into abandoning a perfectly legal activity and the CIA has had a hand in trying to depose Chavez twice. This is not the way the USA is going to make friends. So Venezuela issued permits for Iranians to travel freely - so what? I bet that many other nationalities can travel freely too. Why should Iranians be treated differently?
