in cases like that-as a great exception to the no-death penalty law, i think we should implement it. Only, again i say strongly-ONLY IN such clear-cut and multy murder cases we should install death penalty(and yes-include terrorists as well in that law)

The authorities are clearly incompetent of making sure he stays in solitary confinement. They lack the knowledge and balls to deal with such a scum-bag – if they didn’t, he wouldn’t have been able to murder AGAIN while in prison. Just hang him and be done with him. Feh!

Everyone seems more concerned with the fact that he's an Arab and not about the horrifying crimes he committed. Hang him! Whether a Jew or an Arab, people that commit such despicable pointless evil acts should be disposed of. It makes me vomit to think that I have to work my ass off, for the government to have money to keep him in education, dvds, pocket money and all the other benefits afforded to the lowest form of bacteria on the planet.

That's what he deserves! It is time for Israel to rethink the death penalty for terrorism, child rape and murder with aggravated or brutal circumstances! The Knesset MUST pass legislation making minimum sentences mandatory whether the President of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Beinish, likes it or not! How can she preside over a system in which the people have no confidence? The Knesset, the Judiciary and the police ARE responsible to the people of this country and they must be forced to honor their responsibilities! It is time for the Ministers of Justice and Internal Security to put the money where their mouths are. We have to stop our lazy judges from allowing ridiculous plea bargains. They are paid to try cases and not to hide behind excuses of "heavy case loads"! What "case loads" if each case ends up in a plea? Criminals MUST not be let out of prison on “holiday” and house arrest must not be allowed in serious cases. In short, an overhaul of the whole law enforce system in this country is essential in order to end the anarchy which reigns supreme!

In Texas, US, this monster would get the Death Penaly w/o possibility of parole. This would not be a "punishment" - it would be cleaning the society of a psychopatic murderer. I suggest to Ysrael Beitenu to motion for re-instating the Death Punishment - like in the Democratic USA!

Beating someone to death in the village square would put us on par with say, ooooh I dunno, Somalia and the like? We are a developed nation................. with a failing judicial system. Judges should be allowed to hand down the death penalty after a fair and just hearing, and only for violent crimes that involved taking someone's life or the abuse of a minor. i agree the article could have revealed a nationalistic motive if it were the case, but in this case, the killer, killed for the sake of killing, and now he is caught and will never be free to kill again no matter what his ethnicity is

does such a despicable act, he's lambasted by Talkbackers due to his ethnicity- but when: a Jew murders an Arab cab driver due to his ethnicity (2009); an angry Jewish mob stabs a 7-year old boy 21 times (2005), or an Israeli soldier straps a Palestinian to the back of a car- in a manner eerily reminiscent of the KKK- then these are all isolated as "fringe elements" within society that do not represent the greater Jewish population? It is irrelevant wether this murderer, who killed for "fun" is an arab or jew. As well the conclusions of this murder, calling for death sentence are emotional. The murder, who clearly is a psychopath needs to be behind bars or in a closed psychiatry all his life and we need reforms in law to make sure that he won't ever be released....

Given the Leftist slant of Israeli courts, any death penalty will never be enforced. TB # 3 is the correct solution to an irredentist population. Only separation from a hostile national minority will protect us.
