Frank ,   Canada   (05.26.09)
The Brits have created this mess on purpose, they must give British visas to Fraudestinians.
2. If Israel tried to relocate the palestinians
Erastus CoupeDeVille ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (05.26.09)
from the west bank to the east bank of the jordan river, they should take note of what happened to serbia when they tried ethnic cleansing in kosovo.
3. Jordan is 78% of Palestine mandate; it's population is 80%
Judean ,   3400yroldJudea   (05.26.09)
"palestinian" Lets see...if it looks like "palestine" , talks like "palestine, sounds like "palestine, smells like "palestine"...it must be "Palestine" Jordan IS "PALESTINE"
4. Jordans upset

Frankie Abulafia ,   Jerusalem   (05.26.09)
6. Roee and Amnon are left-wingers
(05.26.09)
That is why they would never designate losers Olmert or Tsipi 'left-wing'. But they are happy to throw around the epithet 'right-wing' whenever anyone disagrees with their leftist idiocies. Shame on the moribund mainstream media journos.
7. Finally!
Matthias Roth ,   Switzerland   (05.26.09)
MK Eldad is absolutely right. His bill is based on historical facts. There is an Israeli peace initiative: http://www.israelinitiative.com
8. We can work it out.
Ypip ,   Canada   (05.26.09)
9. eldad is correct
MARCEL   (05.26.09)
75% of israel was given to jordan by britain. So the matter is very simple to solve. All t he palestinians(not really palestinians) should be relocated to jordan with arab and un financing. israel keeps the remaining 25 of mandate palestine. Now for gaza, a strip from egypt should be attached to it to make a livable state. If hamas persists in war, then all gazans would be relocated to jordan and gaza would then be attached to israel. Eldad is totally correct and deserves congratulations for his open comments. Olmert and livni of the previous government were morons and weaklings.
10. An excellent bill based on truth and reality
Steven ,   San Francisco   (05.26.09)
Eldad is awesome. Kudos.
11. ELDAD: YOU ARE CORRECT.
Abe   (05.26.09)
PLEASE KEEP TELLING WHAT YOU KNOW AND DON'T LET ANYONE SILENCE YOU!
12. Jordan's King
Rory Squaric ,   Rocky River, OH, USA   (05.26.09)
Every picture I see of Jordan's king shows him about as unhappy as any man I've ever seen. What a frown on his face. It probably comes from resisting the reality regarding Israel and the Palestinians...
13. since when is Knesset ruling Jordan?
Giovanni ,   Milan, Italy   (05.26.09)
14. The king protests too much
Lioness ,   Israel   (05.26.09)
He knows Jordan is on 78% of Mandate land and IS the Palestinian State.
15. Jordan wants to tell Israel what can be debated?!
redbourn ,   tel aviv   (05.26.09)
Israel, unlike Jordan is a democracy, and debate cannot therefore be stifled. Arab States can simply say "that is not up for discussion" end of story. And the media would be banned from discussing the issue. Not so in Israel, although I'd like to see HaAretz banned, if only because it continually prints untruths. Mike
16. Is this MK stupid or something?
(05.26.09)
17. good job MK Eldad
(05.26.09)
keep up the good work.
18. Kol Hacavod Eldad !
Jennie ,   NYC   (05.26.09)
No matter how angry Eldad opponents are, its time for all Government members to face the true cold facts :Israel is trying to achieve peace, since its inception by giving up land, won over bitter wars. And the more they give up, the further is peace or even the recognition of Israel as a Jewish State. So it is safe to assume, that something needs to change.Withdrawals never worked to Israel' favor and never will. Did the arab neighbors ever stopped hating Israel ? No! So it's time to believe chamas, fattah &etc.,when they proclaim the innihilation of Israel. Appeasements are demonstration of betrayal of our sacred right and duty to dwell in peace in the land of our Fathers. There is no other country in the world, that has more legal right to the land of Israel, then we do. Jews have been buying the land in Israel for Hundreds of years and the deeds are still available in JNF archives. We need to renew the belief in our right and duty to "dwell" in our G-d given land and not get corrupted by politics. We forgot too fest the miracle of the creation of Israel in 1948 and the glorious victories we lived thru since.. When we defend the land, given to us by our G-d, HE is with US..He proved it in all the Wars,Israel has won and in the deliberation of Jerusalem..But since the time we started to give up land for terror, we have become loosers and we will keep on losing, until we stop cutting out our land. Every inch of Israel is a living history..
19. #2: you should take note of what happened when the Arab
usa   (05.26.09)
States including Jordan all attacked the nascent Jewish State and tried to drive out the Jews more than once, losing every time despite their overwhelming military advantage. The palestinians are a people without a country because no Arab country would take them in. Repatriation of the Palestinian Arabs wll be done by treaty, not by "ethnic cleansing." Jordan needs to step up and take responsibility for the welfare of its people, which includes the Palestinians.
20. Amen Brother (FINALLY someone knows their history)
Ken ,   Miami FL   (05.26.09)
Jordon IS Palestine............ And that's more than they deserve because the original British Mandate said TransJordon was ours too!
21. My congratulations to MK Eldad
FO ,   Belgium   (05.26.09)
Finally a MK who has the guts to disclose THE historical truth. It is deeply disappointing that neither PM Netanyahu nor any other MK of the Likud party, a party that has the pretention to follow the ideology of Jabotinsky, has the same courage as Eldad, to proclaim what the left is trying, with success by the way, to hide for more than 80 years. In 1922 under impulse of US President Woodrow Wilson, and this should be reminded to the actual President Obama, the LEAGUE of NATIONS voted unanimously the "MANDATE for PALESTINE". The Mandate recognized in its Preamble "the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for Reconstituting their national home in that country". (In clear: a State). This Mandate gave the Jewish People the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle anywhere in Palestine, the area between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights, a right unaltered in International Law and valid to this day, due to Article 80 of the Charter of the UNITED NATIONS. The League of Nations also adopted the memorandum of the British delegate, a request to put all the East of Palestine, the area between the Jordan River and the Desert of Arabia (75% of total Palestinian territory) under exclusive British rule. This large part of Palestine became later the Arab Palestinian State called Jordan, with a population of more than 70% of Arab Palestinians. DE FACTO the ARAB STATE OF PALESTINE.
22. Just to refresh everyone's memory
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (05.27.09)
The Hashemite Kingdom was created out of whole cloth (actually, out of Palestine) in 1927 because the British made Feisal king of Iraq and Feisal's baby brother Abdullah stamped his foot and and said he wanted to be a king, too. Jordan is the least legitimate state in the entire Middle East. Please keep that in mind.
23. even the PLO recognizes this.
Golan ,   SL   (05.27.09)
The truth hurts doesn't it TransJordan? But the fact remains that while an Arab state can declare Israel as "Palestine" so can we remind the world and Abedullah that the East Bank is nothing more than an Arab "Palestinian" land still in occupation of historic Jewish territory. Honor the 1920 agreement!
24. to HRH & the people of Jordan....
(05.26.09)
Our most sincere apologies for having elected a less than diplomatic man to the office of MK. Please do be aware that he doesn't represent all of us.
25. Jordan is Palestine.
Mongo ,   Paris   (05.27.09)
Complete with a Pali Queen!
26. Of course Jordan is Palestine
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.27.09)
There never was a country named Palestine. Time for Jordan to accept their citizens. We have the illegal squatters here too long
27. Jordan=Palestine
Joe in LA ,   Los Angeles   (05.27.09)
MK Eldad is 100% right!
28. MK is correct
Rafe ,   US   (05.27.09)
and the king of Jordan is not king of Israel ! The king apparently has no understanding of democratic legislative process to think he can "demand" a bill be withdrawn from a legislature of a sovereign democracy. He must think he can do with Israel as he does Jordan..the 'other' Pal sate
29. This bill has no real substance.
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (05.27.09)
I don't understand what this bill is for. Even if Jordan WAS the Palestinian homeland, what good does that do to us? We are stuck here with millions of Palestinians that wouldn't want to move there. If we were to ethnically cleanse them to Jordan, the world would scream how 'racist' we are. This bill, therefore, is merely symbolic and quite useless.
30. Thank You & Bravo Mr Eldad !!
avi   (05.27.09)
Proud I voted for you !
