31. Delusions! Welcome To Fantasy Island
rhetoric ,   Vanciuver, Canada   (05.27.09)
In light of the current world opinion re the two-state solution, does anyone take these ravings seriously?
32. ISRAELIS should be angry about the bill
Zvi   (05.27.09)
Israel has freedom of expression. Bills restricting such freedom are attacks on Israeli democracy, which is why Benny Begin and some other right wingers oppose this stupid bill. Given that this bill will never become law, the idiots proposing and supporting it are embarrassing not only themselves but Israel, to no purpose. Thanks, morons.
33. Jordan & Palestine
David ,   USA   (05.27.09)
"Palestine and Jordan are one..." said King Abdullah in 1948. "The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan," said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981. "Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate," Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970. Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, "The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture." "There should be a kind of linkage because Jordanians and Palestinians are considered by the PLO as one people," said Farouk Kaddoumi, then head of the PLO Political Department, to Newsweek on March 14, 1977.
34. ABSOLUTELY! JORDAN IS PALESTINE!
SEND ARABS BACK TO ,   JORDAN!   (05.27.09)
HOW CAN 85% OF JORDAN BE PALESTINIANS AND ONLY THE KING IS A HASHEMITE? JORDAN IS PALESTINE!
35. to #1 I agree, the brits left that mess
ghostq   (05.27.09)
behind, and Israel took too many times the fall for what the brits did, so now, lets send the palis to the UK so they would deal with them.
36. Peaceful solution
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.27.09)
There should be two states living side by side in peace. The two states should be Israel and Jordan. Palestinians living in Israel who don't have Israeli citizenship could be given Jordanian citizenship but be allowed to continue living in Israel with resident status. Jordan is a Palestinian state irrespective of whatever name it is called. This is a truly peaceful solution.
37. Well, that WAS the original agreement
William ,   Israel   (05.27.09)
Arabs want to go back to basics, let's go. The very original idea was for Jordan to be Palestinian and Israel for Jews. So in the spirit of honest brokering and reversal of years of hardship - this must be explored. But the Jordanian rep himself seems to agree with the bill when he stated - "Jordan "believes in establishing an independent and viable Palestinian state on Palestinian soil," ...exactly!
