screwed because they always back-stab and screw each other. This affects their mentality when dealing with the rest of the world. This Eldad bill is merely "up for debate." It hasn't been made into law, and probably won't be. Recalling ambassadors and threatening to break treaties is a knee-jerk and impulsive reaction to what may only be political rhetoric. Jordan needs to take a chill pill and learn how the democratic process works.
3. Eldad one of the most decent people in Israel
usa   (05.29.09)
No leftist american ever liked that idea especially leftist american Jews.
4. Remember, Jondan nees Israel, not Israel need Jordan!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (05.29.09)
The fact is that what MK Dr. Eldad said, whether you agree or disagree, is being used to sprout old rhetoric by the Jordanian politicians who have always hated Israel and always will!
5. Jordan is part of what was Palestine
hE DIDNT say just th   (05.29.09)
The Brits have already divded palestine. 70% of the Jordanian population is Palestinian, Arye Eldad has a point, Most of Palestine was given to Arabs and now they want to take the small part we jews have and divide it again.
6. Perhaps jordan will refuse to take water

from Israel. Close Israeli factories there. They are sitting on our land for decades. Go back to saudi arabia!

Israel should not give one drop of precious water to the Jordanians. The Kinneret (lake of Galilee) is at dangerously low levels.
8. somebody has to govern these folks, they prove they cannot
do it themselve ,   Help them, king   (05.29.09)
9. Only15 members, is that mean the majority is silent?
e.m.Jordan is Palest ,   s.f   (05.29.09)
In other hand is that mean the majority of Jordanians parliament believes Jordan is Palestinian State? If the 75% of Jordan population is Palestinian than soon or late Jordan will be the Palestinian State it is only matter of time.
10. No, "lawmakers," it confirms you don't want the Pals either
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (05.29.09)
11. Jordan's king needs Israel
Ruth ,   New York   (05.29.09)
Israel does NOT need Jordan (Jewish name). They will never, NEVER, brake ties with Israe. Because the king will be removed in a few weeks.
12. the forgotten history
Zohar ,   Bat-Yam   (05.30.09)
so called syrians+jordanians+palestinians+lebanes = are 1 people, 1 nation: SYRIANS which were artificially divided by the imperialists like britain and france in the 20th centuries. previously the arabs of these lands sought to be united in a 1 single state called 'great syria" and defined themselves as syrians. so, the israeli-arab conflict would be better solved between israel and the syrian people rather than "jordanian" people.
13. Hey Jordan, remember the Gulf War?
Aaron ,   LA, USA (formerly SF   (05.30.09)
By warning that it would take military measures if any Iraq troops entered Jordan, Israel, in effect, guaranteed it's neighbor's territorial integrity against Iraqi aggression. Jordan diplomats know that they need Israel bilaterally.
