Like Israel did in Gaza??? Not had enough?? When will you learn?
32. #19 Ali Baba
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.30.09)
Hizbullah kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldiers on Israel's side of the border and lost 600 Hizbullah fighters during the war. Many more dropped their guns and ran. Lebanon was turned into a graveyard and has not yet recovered. For this careless attack in which Nasrallah underestimated Israel's response, Iran demoted Nasrallah. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Nasrallah has brought nothing but destruction to Lebanon. Is Lebanon's economy so rock solid that you can afford another war?

35. read what President Michel Sleiman describes as Lebanon
JO   (05.30.09)
Hezbo may only force it's way with guns turned on Lebanese, threatening,. but this is not the Lebanon the majority wants. AND THE Lebanese do not want to be part of Hezbo's obession with Israel or the Palestinian cause. What kind of country they will be. All I know is the Hezbo rules with threats andguns, and fear, far from respecting the will of the people or the goverment elected. If will use war to get what it wants andIsrael is their big excuse.
36. Noor, I wish your people more victories like this.

same thing to hisbolla, they will think twice before trying a trick like they did in 2006, the next time will be much more painful.

Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (05.30.09)
Ummmm .... er ... okay. Let me know when you wake up. Killing civilians? That would be an Islamofascist Palestinian specialty, now, wouldn't it? Do you REALLY want me to provide the statistics? I can, you know. In a heartbeat. But you won't like them. Better take another Xanax and go back to sleep and dream your pathetic dreams.
41. To: No. 27
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (05.30.09)
Oh, Noor, you are SO deluded. Sad, really. Since the creation of the Palestine Authority, Palestinians -- whether in Gaza or the West Bank -- have been the beneficiaries of 200 billion dollars in U.S. aid, and 240 billion euros in EU aid. What do you have to show for it? Well, let me tell you. You have a whole bunch of Palestinian "leadership" (of whatever stripe, breed, or organizational affiliation) with hefty bank accounts and lavish homes in Europe. You have largely unsuccessful attempts to illegally import arms to use against the (sigh) "Zionist entity." What you DON'T have are improvements to infrastructure, joint venture capital, investment in industrial efforts or agricultural accomplishments. Oh puh-lease. Contrast how much Israel accomplished in the first twenty years of the modern State of Israel's existence -- despite having to fight wars, terrorism and the need to absorb millions of refugees (most of whom, interestingly enough, were thrown out of Arab countries with nothing more than the clothes on their backs) with the first twenty years of the "Palestine Authority." Be ashamed of your so-called "leadership." They have led you straight to disaster, while simultaneously not overlooking the opportunity to line their pockets to an obnoxious degree. While ordinary Palestinians remain in sordid refugee camps, your leadership hits the casinos in Monte Carlo. I saw one Palestinian blow $800,000 in about ten minutes at a baccarat table. Ask yourself this: how many starter homes, enabling Palestinians to leave the refugee camps) would that sum buy? How many scholarships would that sum buy? If you have a problem, it is with yourselves. It is most assuredly not Israel. When WILL you remove the scales from your eyes?
42. Ali @ 19; You are just another fool who
leo ,   USA   (05.30.09)
swallowed Nasrallah's BS hook, line and sinker. You will not win, but will lose entire South of Litani.
43. # 37 .. Only twice? Alright, we'll make sure we do that.
Zionist sympathizer ,   Eurabia   (05.30.09)
44. #38 ...You're absolutely right about this particular issue
Ali ,   The Gulf   (05.30.09)
i.e people of the Gulf, don't give a damn about the Palestinians, but do your Palestinian friends appreciate that fact or opinion? I don't think so, since your Palestinian friends never stop wailing and complaining about how we betrayed them and befriended the West that steal our money and oil, since we are illiterate Bedouins who don't know anything but bread camels. But your last comment may send the right message to the Palestinians and enlighten their mind; i.e. that they are becoming more of a liability than an asset, and that's why Egypt and K.S.A dragged Turkey in, we need them to share the burden with us.
45. Ali, absolutely right!
Noor ,   Palestine   (05.30.09)
That's why the zionist scums running their enterprise havent attacked lebanon yet. They probably havent even dared to think of such an action. Free Lebanon and may Hezbollah achieve victory in the elections. We all know who will win and the Israelis are squirming in their seats! Slowly, the puppets and arab collaborators are starting to disappear from the political arena.
46. Yaron; You mean like what happened in '06?
Noor ,   Palestine   (05.30.09)
hah!
47. Micho, that's Sarah's problem.
Noor ,   Palestine   (05.30.09)
She sadly thinks that the more Palestinians die, the more they fail. She obviously didnt learn the lessons from the gaza war where now, for every fighter that is killed, there are 10, perhaps more, that are ready to take his place. Sarah sadly doesnt know that when you kill someone's family, the survivors have no choice but to join the resistance. Same with the 2006 war. It probably makes her happy watching dead palestinians on t.v.
48. #47 .. Was that meant to be Propaganda?
Homophobe ,   Jerusalem   (05.30.09)
49. Propaganda is what comes out of the mouths of your leaders.
Noor ,   Palestine   (05.30.09)
50. Noor @ 47; The more fighters there are,
leo ,   usa   (05.30.09)
the less civilians there are. Less innocent casualties there is. Makes job so much easier to do.
51. #47 Noor wannabe a Palestinian cheerleader
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.30.09)
Your posts are those of a serial propagandist who twists the truth to inflame the problem. Your purpose is to draw attention to yourself. Sarah's purpose is to support Israel and set the record straight. She's far more knowledgeable about the facts on the ground and does circles around you. Funny how you tell Israelis to seek peace while you salivate over the prospect of war.
52. #14 - Hahaha, you rely on Winograd, Noor?
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
First, you must understand that Jews are notorious when being self-critical. They are merciless on themselves to the point of causing 24/7 guilt. They are the type of people who could cure 50 cancer patients, yet anguish over the 51st that was lost. Opposed to the Arabs who could be self-critical if their life depended on it, and it does. Read closer - Winograd is critical of the inefficiency of the IDF on some specific points, not the overall action in Lebanon. It also states that the govt held the forces back needlessly. A report to learn of the failings certainly wouldn't include the major successes, like taking out bunkers and long-range rockets, a daring night-time arresting of Hizbullah terrorists in the Bakaa valley via helicopter, etc. If the report is so bad, why did Pals immediately call for the same report on their own government to uncover their ineptness and corruption. We must be doing something right.
53. #11- Noor, Hizbullah and Hamas use other weapons
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
"...they cant even put a dent through hamas and hezbollah, organizations that arm themselves with small guns and rockets" Let Hamas and Hizbullah step out from behind the human shields and civilian homes and I promise you...the end result of tangling with the IDF will be vastly different. I do consider you losers...for being used as human shields in the first place, and refusing dozens of peace deals over the years that result in the same equation that Abbas today claims is worthy. You must thank Allah that it is Israel, and not Sri Lanka or Pakistan you are dealing with, or we will not be having this conversation.
54. #32 - answer to Ali Baba #19
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
I think Ali Baba meant something different in his post. He said that Hizbullah will win the elections and be a majority to lead an attack on Israel. They did that unilaterally in 2006 and got a huge response. Only with a majority in the govt, Nasrallah won't publicly apologize for destroying Lebanon again, nor for turning his guns on Lebanese when they protest him. I think that's what he meant. From most analysts, it appears it's more of a Shiite vs. non-Shiite in Lebanon, the cause du jour of Iran...and the chagrin of average Lebanese.
55. #26 - Noor - "Hamas didn't ask Hizbullah to join war"
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
Are you kidding??? Hahaha. Hamas was begging Nasrallah to launch rockets on Israel within the first couple of days of IAF action. They were publicly cursing HIzbullah and all Arabs for not coming to their aid. All Hizbullah could say is "this is not the right time" but offered scathing remarks against other Arabs, especially Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia who he called "Zionist dogs". You can't even get current events right, let alone your own falsified history.
56. #51 - Noor desparately wants to be part of winning team
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
But no one else will have her/him so she/he is relegated to trying to boost her own team as winners. Ever see the movie The Bad News Bears?
57. #47 - Noor - "have no choice but to join resistance"
William ,   Israel   (05.31.09)
well, no duh! After Hamas has attacked Fatah men brutally, fired non-Hamas doctors, shut down Internet cafes, closed or destroyed industrial zones, shut down schools and attacked churches, and created a tax system that sucks money from FREE humanitarian aid and smuggled goods.... how else can anyone survive but to join the side of Hamas?
58. #56 Very true William
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.01.09)
They succeed at failure.
