4. Obama is talking about musch of west Jerusalem as well.
dmgold ,   Pardes Channa Israel   (06.01.09)
Illegal settlements in the eyes of the Obama Regime include Ramot, Gilo, Mizrach talpiot, Pizgat Zeev and of course the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem. The State department quotes 500,000 settlers???. So people , what we know as west Jerusalem is also on the table. As the US destroyed Serbia through forced UN/ EU ethnic cleansing, so is their plan for the Jews in their own historic land. I just thank my lucky stars that Tzipi take what you want but please like me Livni does not hold the reins of power. Israel needs new freinds, the UNCLE TOM DEMOCRAT SECULAR JEWS IN THE USA , ARE WORKING HARD TO GIVE AWAY OUR LANDS AND TO UNDERMINE JEWS IN ISRAEL..
5. You can't solve Israeli-Palestinian problem
Marcel ,   Florida   (06.01.09)
No matter how much you cut off of what remaind of the Israeli body to placate the Islamists it will never be enough. The more you do these insane acts of self abuse and cutting off of limbs (removing fellow Jews from their land) to appease your false god Obama and the Palestinians it will only encourage them to go after what remains dear blind and foolish people of Israel who go along with the 2 state final solution. Only HaShem can bring you peace ,His Way and no other way.
6. to # 4 where have you been

WHEN WILL ISRAEL LEARN TO TURN TO G'D OBAMA IS DESIGNED BY HASHEM 'HIMSELF' TO CAUSE SUFFERINGS TO ISRAEL FOR ITS SINS OF TURNING AWAY FROM TORAH
8. Bibi walking line between home supporters+Western allies
Sam ,   Canada   (06.01.09)
Although Netanyahu would like to appease both his Israeli supporters and Western allies neither is going to make the job easy for him. The West and the settlers have their own agendas. The West wants to appease the Arabs and the settlers are hell bent on settling. It depends on the Arabs. If the Arabs are ambiguous on peace and focused on propaganda then Netanyahu will lean to the settlers. If the Arabs are clear about peace then Netanyahu will have big decisions to make.
9. Life in Judea and Samaria will be frozen as soon as life in
Raanan Cohen ,   Kibbutz Givat Haim   (06.01.09)
Chicago - Barak Hussein Obama's home - will stop. When Blacks, in a racist way, are told not to build their homes in Chicago then Jews, in a racist way, will accept the idea of not being permitted to reside in territory that is under dispute and has not been taken from anyone but from the Jordanian state that retained it illegally between the years 1948 and 1967 and from which it launched a war of annihilation against Israel as part of the Egypt-Syria-Jordan coalition that set out to accomplish that which they could not in 1948...
10. Tzipi Livni
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron-Israel   (06.01.09)
Dear Tzipi, Please do us all a favor and go home doing some cooking. We have no intentions of being genuflect as you propose nor to bow to the Big Brother, we are Israelis, proud Israelis, not ghetto Jews like you!
11. #6 WTF. Express a view if you are able!!!
dmgold ,   pardes channa Israel   (06.01.09)
Perhaps a few lessons in english grammer would help you let out those stunted ideas you are trying to express.
12. Pay attention to North Korea.
Ypip ,   Canada   (06.01.09)
13. Make your bed then sleep in it
Natallie   (06.01.09)
Israel is building on land that is outside of the national boundaries. Israel has not even dared to annex this land?? This is not a normal situation and the settlers should not expect that it will be treated as a normal situation. First secure title to the land, and then build. It must be done in that order. If you err in this important step, don't expect sympathy from the true owners or the law. Becoming a settler in the west bank is a personal choice that offers risk as well as reward. The settlers greedily gobble up the reward and then don't want to hear about the risk. That attitude will not garner sympathy for the settlers. The settlers days are numbered, everybody knows this in their heart of hearts. The only question is how many lives must be lost before Israel departs the west bank for good.

15. Don't freeze settlements but "freeze" Livni
DT ,   TA Israel   (06.01.09)
Good for Bibi. Contrast that with Livni giving the State away as the U.S's useless lackey. What a miserable speciment she is even to have her in any position of responsibility
16. What is the meaning of being a settler?
Dave Ronen ,   Haifa   (06.01.09)
Faith, moral clarity, long-term vision, defiance of odds (the few against the many), willingness to sacrifice short-term convenience on the altar of long term national security, and awareness that nations who do not adhere to their roots, and are not willing to make a sacrifice for Liberty, forsake their future and do not deserve Liberty. NO FREE LUNCH FOR SOVEREIGN PEOPLES, especially in violent and unpredictable neighborhoods. As to the legitimacy and the rights of the settlers : http://xrl.us/bj5ng
17. How do you discipline a child?
Nour ,   Palestine   (06.01.09)
By demonstrating to them that for every irresponsible action, there are consequences. Israel today is a violator, an aggressor, and an expansionist entity thanks to Settlements Inc. I see that the only way out of this settlement movement (which would eventually backfire dramatically in any case) is to initiate far-reaching sanctions and a trade embargo against Israel. Consequences felt by Israel would be a total isolation until it’s repents from apartheid and accords Palestinian Arabs West of the Jordan their political and human rights in full
18. Very well, unfreeze WB resistance

Grammer ? You should talk !
20. kadima = the party that put hamas in power
DAVID ,   NEW YORK   (06.01.09)
i love getting lectures from livni about israel's security: you'd think that after they put hamas in power in gaza that livni, olmert etc. would join the witness protection program, change their names and get plastic surgery. the fact is that the "peace process" is not intended for israel's benefit (don't be stupid and naive). the "peace process" is intended to give the arab rulers political cover ("look arab street, don't kill us, we're working to get rid of israel by negotiation). the arab dictators need it and the americans serve it to them. actual peace is not the intended outcome. its only needed for distraction. if parts of israel have to be given to terrorists in the process, so be it.
21. In a nutshell
Chrisona ,   Chicago   (06.01.09)
Livni: I believe that the Israel-US relations, which are based on profoundness and an understanding of interests, are stronger than your government's problematic policy, MK Regev: "I strengthen the prime minister for his policy and for maintaining the State of Israel's security interests. We must not talk about removing outposts when Israel's security is in danger, from Iran to Hamas." Did Israel come into existence in 1948 as result of U.S. aid? Not at all. Israelis who now believe that Israel's continued existence depends on U.S. aid are selling their country down the river, because it that is the case, Israel doesn't have long for this world. Time to get free of Livni/Obama box.
22. #15 DT, "freeze
(06.01.09)
23. #17 Wishful thinking-Palestinian wet dream
Sam ,   Canada   (06.01.09)
Israel and the West want to hear from the Arabs a CLEAR acceptance of Israel as the Jewish-ruled state it is. They don't buy the ambiguous Arab declarations of peace. To the extent they hope that Palestinians and Arabs will change their minds and accept a GENUINE 2 state solution some pressure is put on Israel. In the absence of Palestinian acceptance of a Jewish Israel, don't expect much pressure on Israel or Jewish enthusiasm.
24. #17 What do you call apartheid?
Raphael ,   Netanya   (06.01.09)
I never saw separated toilets, separated busses, forbidden jobs, university numerus clausus, forbidden press, forbidden intermarriage in Israel, unlike in countries where shari'a is applied.
25. How or how will the Jewish people surivive without America
USA   (06.01.09)
American-Israeli relations are overated. Under Obama who is a first muslim US president the US is policy has shifted from secretly siding with Israel's enemies (Iran included) to openly siding with Israel's enemies (Iran included). "Change has come to America" get it? so Israel too must change. Consider full cooperation and partnership with Russia and don't forget that there is a God in this world.
26. exodus 23:32-33 they are not supposed to live here
make no agreement ,   with them   (06.01.09)
when will our leaders ever figure it out that we are totally incompatable with them that should be living in their own lands egypt and jordan. send the free loaders back home where they belong and tell the world community to mind their own business and solve their own problems first before trying to dish out their advice which would end up in our destruction if we followed through on it.

Malone ,   Hfx   (06.01.09)
"Apartheid' is a popular word amongst the latest "trendy" catch words for the anti Israel crowd, along with "racist"..."fascist",etc. Do you know the definition of "apartheid"?..Look it up..it does not apply to the present situation. Dis-information only works with people that are not informed...which of course is your aim.

Before you start giving lessons in English "grammer"[sic],maybe you should refresh your own spelling abilities. "Grammar" is the word you're looking for.
