The "palestinians" (those former syrians, egyptians and jordanians who refuse to leave Israel's west bank) want to be a sovereign nation - claim they are one. So where is their own fire service? No where else in the world is one country required to provide fire service for another - why don't they have their own? They should not be relying on Israel's public works and infrastructure - after all, haven't they received trillions of dollars from the nations for just that purpose? Where is it? Where are the fire stations they built for themselves to be a sovereign nation? The water treatment plants? The electric generation? The sewer lines? Where did all that money go, then?

The Israeli firefighters are expected to risk their lives and help Filastinians. But no, it is not only the raging fire that poses the threat to firefighters. They need a protection from the very same people they set out to help. Clearly dimwitted leftist moralists don't see any irony in that.

As with the palestinians, the settlers rights and issues MUST be taken into account and they have to be treated fairly if there is to be peace in your country. I don't agree with their tactics, but the settlers have rights just as you do!

The palestinians attack Israel & when they get chances they attack settlers. In the past they have sent 13 year olds to sneak into settlements with knives to kill settlers. When somebody wants to kill you then you don't go out your way to be good naighbors you make life miserable for them as well. Don't try and judge on rights and wrongs here this is human nature. How many residents of Sderot what would say if you asked them do you want to go have group hugs with palestinians and how many of you would like to pick up a gun and kill every last one of them?
