31. Game??
Ilana   (06.11.09)
If our life under terror is what you call a game , I tremble to think what reality would be in your eyes.
32. To: No. 21
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (06.11.09)
You people? Gentlemen? You must be on drugs. You're terrorist garbage. You lost six wars. You don't call the shots. Israel does. Get used to the concept -- it's not going to change anytime soon.
33. to 17# raphy from Montyreal
DAVID ,   HERZLIA,ISRAEL   (06.11.09)
Majority of Israelis are in favor of a Palestinian state next to Israel. regarding the 100,000 setllers: after the final agreement the IDF will leave most of the West Bank, and the 100,000 or 200,000 settlers can stay where they are if they want but under Palestinian rule ( IF THEY WANT !!). And by the way, stop being a hero in Montreal and be a hero living in Israel. Bibi or any other Primer Minister will not loose the suppport of the army, we are a democratic country , not some banana republic
34. #29, David
Philip ,   Dublin, Ireland   (06.11.09)
Thank you David. I will certanly be visiting Israel some day as it is one of the interesting places in the world i would really like to see. Unfortunately it will be a couple of years yet untill i can make the trip but hey thanks for the offer.
35. # 17 Ann from Ireland
DAVID ,   HERZLIA,ISRAEL   (06.11.09)
Maybe Palestine will be a state, I personally hope they do get a state, I sincerely hope that I will be proven wrong but I am afraid that Palestina will be a bigger version of Gaza, and then a huge war will blow up in the area and then....!!!! The Palestinian and the Arab world had a great opportunity to show the world and most important show Israel that they can rule themselves and that they will not become a platform to shoot rockets at the center of Israel, or a beachhead for Iran. I don't want to even think what will happen to the dreams of the Palestinians if Palestine will be a hostile country. Anyway let us hope for the best.
36. Since 1948 Israel has had temp borders. Only difference
David Turner ,   Richmond   (06.11.09)
between Israelis and Palestinians is that Israel proclaimed statehood, while the Palestinians have been holding out in hopes for a Greater Palestine. Except they have never had the leadership nor wherewithal to achieve their aspirations. So they have clung to their misery, stateless, in poverty and dispersed in hopes that world sympathy would deliver that which they are self-powerless to achieve, the ultimate demise of the Zionist state. Pathos is tragic; Pathetic is, well, just pathetic. Reliance on Mubarak to save the Palestinian leaders from their civil war merely reminds all but themselves that they lack both the social and political maturity and skills to achieve their own peace. Reliance on Obama for salvation just continues the past failed and pathetic pursuit of seeking outside salvation from themselves, their own and continuing failure. Nobody respects the tragic self-mutilator. Not even the self-inflicted victim.
37. Peres, what about natural growth for the Palestinians..
Eric ,   JHB SA   (06.11.09)
you steal the palestinian lands to accomodate immigrants from Russia, Ethopia etc and want to hoodwink the world about natural growth. You can't fool all of the people all of the time. Give back the Palestinian their land so that they meet their natural growth needs.
38. How do you put a border around the disconnected
Erastus CoupeDeVille ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (06.11.09)
islands of the palestinian archipelago.
39. to Sarah ..the newyorker .
Fawzi ,   Cleveland   (06.11.09)
you're talking big Sarah .. ok ,will have a 2 solutions for people like you . i am afraid you are running out of options ..and your zionist entreprise is hitting a dead end . 1-a 2 states solution that will lead to one of course by 2020 ..called palestine . 2-or a better solution (a faster one for us ..palestinians) ... the likud is pushing for ..how about one state with 2 national identities ..with arab majority soon .or already there between the river and the sea . take your pick,we are so done talking cousin . as for Peres ..the provisional borders ..he can say what he wants along those two remaining options . let us hear what MR without an accent ,Nataniahu ..will say on sunday ...since it is the season for BIG lectures . and please don't talk about wars ..the lebaneese emptied 1/3 of your so-called Israel with little firework. cowards .

41. peres has no right to propose anything
zionist forever   (06.12.09)
He is the PRESIDENT not the PM and his job is kiss babies and shake hands with foreigners something that senlile unelected old fool won't accept and is abusing the power of his position. Since he became president all he has been doing it talk politics about should we give up nukes, endorising the arab plan and now he wants a state in temproy borders. If he won't quit office why won't this old fool do us all a favour and die gracefully in his sleep its obvious he intends to drop dead before standing down anyway. Amazing they considered John Mccain to old to be president when he is a baby compared to Peres and he would have been alot better for Israel than Peres.
