Ahmadinejad declared winner before ballots counted.

Iran isn't a"democracy". People are free to vote, but Mullah's are free to declare whatever result THEY want to. It is finaly the will of the fuhrer Khamenei that rules.
He choose Ahmadinejad to continue; So it will. Of course elections are manipulated. This is not the way something will change in the country. If Ahmadinjad is elected, it will prove sonly that only a regime change can bring down that dictatorial state

Reformers are unknown quantities but it with the self apointed defender of islami in the White House Obama won't hestiate to turn the Iranian nuclear issue around and make is an issue about Israel having nukes.
Just watch him start talking about punishing Israel if it doesn't give up its nukes because Iran and the arabs feel threatened
Its was done after Arafats death.
Abbas isn't that different to Arafat in his demands which we all found unacceptable.
Abbas though wears a suit and tie and he looks distinguished
Image wise he is the opposite to everything the west hated about Arafat and he calls himself reformers and moderate and so all the preasure on pushing forward the peace process is on Israel because it must strenghen the moderate.
Condoliza Rice was like that and Obama is just an Israel hater and muslim defender so he will jump at the chance to back any muslim who calls himself reformer and if it hurts Israel well thats just a huge bonus.
At least if the monkey stays we know who the enemy is and Obama is less likely to be so soft and simply make Israel a scapegoat for Iran.

|
what the heck ? The Democracy is not the problem, it's the people, the poor people that can not understand the concept and that what ahmadinejad took advantage of.
I guess, for you Denocracy is quite working...

7. the monkey is good for israel
with ahmedinejad it will be easier for israel to strike iran than with the "moderate" one!
|
|
|
Both Ahmadinejad and Mousavi talk about annihilating Israel and refer to America as the Great Satan. However, at least with Ahmadinejad the fact that he's a fanatic is obvious, while Mousavi would probably be able to fool the west into thinking he was a moderate. Not only that, but it's the mullahs who are in charge and they would have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of the 7th century for anything to change in Iran.
|
|
|
how can a people be so stupid?
Even if the voting was rigged, still too many Iranians voted for the 'monkey'.
This is giving democracy a bad name- I guess Arab democracy is different from Western democracy- . of course if the majority of people are still illiterate and have to vote with thumbprints...one face looks like another!

Who said that he was fascinated with the debates and the way the elections were conducted. Was he,also,on the wrong side of the fence??
|
|
|
12. The proclaimed victory is obviously a sham
as the difference between the percentage of votes ahmadinejad and the perc. of votes mousavi got, is simply to big. It would have made more sense if they proclaimed that A. won 70% of the votes so far and Mousavi 65%.
Based on the support rallies for Mousavi which were pretty massive to begin with.
Obviously these elections stink.

13. The Iranian election is not newsworthy.

At best, a small ''update'' would be appropriate.
To the world-at-large, the result of the election is meaningless. No candidate represents any change to the threat posed by Iran.
Of course, the naive & gullible, the wishful thinkers & those who live in an imaginary world, would like to create a ''moderate'' so that they have another excuse to do nothing.
But, of course, now that Achmadinejad has won, they'll go on & find another excuse to do nothing.

i have to correct myself.
" It would have made more sense if they proclaimed that A. won 70% of the votes so far and Mousavi 65%. "
should be:
" It would have made more sense if they proclaimed that A. won 55% of the votes so far and Mousavi 45%. "

17. Ahmedinejad's win confirms Iran's path of destruction
This confirms the fanatics pathway of destruction using nukes and missiles. It is time for Israel to defend itself before they can effect a Final Solution on Israel. Israel must not allow itself to be deterred by the Obama administration that is cowing and stooping to the Islamist-Jihadist world including Iran. There is no precious time to be wasted.

18. #10 Slap in the face of Iranian People
If you recall, I told you months ago I preferred Ahmadinejad. He is the evil we know and understand. But by re-appointing the failed leader Ahmadinejad, the Regime reminded the people they have no say, no freedom, no rights and no control over their destiny. Mousavi offered them hope to end Iran's isolation, improve the economy of Iran and restore the concept of human rights. Let's see how Ahmadinejad puts out the fire that voted against him.

even if we be the first to launched against Iran. we have Jerusalem. the third sacred place in Islam. Iran strike on israel means, no more Jerusalem. that will defy god. judging from theological POV. would they dare even if israel be the first to launched nuke on Iran?
israel and Saudi Arabia are the luckiest countries in the world against Iranian threat. they both posses places which significant in Islam.
but countries who don't have, well, are in deep trouble.
