1. Could it be that they are finally running out of riot wind?
Talula ,   Israel   (06.20.09)
or that they have begun to realize that their behaviour is utterly unacceptable. The Gay Pride Parade will continue, and they know, like it or not.
2. solution
Marc-AndrĂ©   (06.20.09)
there is only one solution to this ongoing problem of decadent influence: move to....a place where there are no phones, no cars, no seculars, no unveiled women, etc. etc. it is impossible to avoid having contact with the 'sinful' world- so if you can't adjust- escape.
3. Good, fight the good fight!
Ezra ,   US   (06.21.09)
As a Jew, one should not turn his/her back on the covenant with Hashem. Jews need to heal their spirit, or the physical body will become ill.
4. Prophecy of siege
David ,   USA, exile   (06.21.09)
Isaiah says, "Their brazen countenance testifies against them; their sins, like Sodom's, speak out and do not withhold." You can have your "sin rights parade" but understand that you are contributing to the fall of your State. HaEretz will puke you out.
5. Pro paraders: it's time to grow up already
Yoram Ierushalmi   (06.21.09)
you have been causing extensive pain and defilement in a city whose residents reject the idea of your abomination, everyone across the spectrum. Shame on you for secular cohersion on Jerusalemites Grow up, and cancell your parade, and in your merit for thatmay Gilad Shalit return home asap
6. I just found out my Dad's gay. I'm still shocked:-(
(06.21.09)
7. Vomit the abominaters out now
Chaim ,   here   (06.21.09)
8. Gay pride
Moira Eicholtz ,   Lakewood, U.S.A.   (06.21.09)
Can't say I'm pro ultra orthodox or Haredi in their efforts to stop this but I think it's a blasphemy to hold this in the Holy city. I think these gay parades are blasphemies anywhere and that the marchers are just doing it in Jerusalem to show off (for want of a better word.)
9. "the LORD has anointed Him"
Carol   (06.21.09)
Homosexuality is spiritual phenomenon and it's absurdity when spiritual religious people try to solve again spiritual problem with phisical means. New Testament contains enough information in this field, explains why this happen to people, gives knowledge and power for managing the problem. "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion-- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified". These words belong to Messiah - Jesus. You can read them in Isaiah 61:1-3. Jesus(Yeshua) is alive, He loves all the people and His Name can free you from any bondage(this is one of the purposes why He was sent by God to the Earth).
10. Don't Rain On My Parade
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.09)
Here is a very simple solution let the parade go as scheduled from A to B don't advertise it in the religious press of put up signs all over the Haradi neighborhoods then all the little black kippot kids will not ask questions and the Yeshiva Bochers can learn in yeshiva where they are meant to be with their heads in their books instead of holding banners telling what the Torah says even say some Tehilim if it makes them feel better and just let life go on as normal. Then we achieved showing Tolerance which the Jewish religion teaches us to do, we achieved not showing hatred against a fellow Jew, is that not why the two Temples got destroyed in the first place and we achieved what the organizers of the parade did not want no publicity. Also we can educate the public why people are homosexual but that would be complicated because then you would have a fight between pro gay who think people are born gay and ex gay who believe it became about because of certain behaviors during growing up and then there are the homophobes who don't like you if your gay or ex gay because they just don't understand.
11. to 8 , they doing it in Jerusalem
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.22.09)
because it's their , not your , CAPITAL . That's the ONLY reason .
12. he he he ha ha haaaaa ha
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (06.22.09)
Rabbi Gays on the run.
13. continue to protest without the violence!
chaya ,   jerusalem ,israel   (06.22.09)
14. Yoram , may you become SANE asap
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.23.09)
If it's possible . Are you so mentally ill that you think that not parading in Israel's Capital will bring Gilat Shalit Home ?
15. Education
Joseph ,   London UK   (06.24.09)
Here in the Diaspora younger brothers of Yeshivah students in Jerusalem were asking teachers like me 'Why are our older brothers rioting?' The whole subject of 'alternative' lifestyles was suddenly on the agenda. I suspect most of the yeshivah students themselves had never really thought much about it. Parents certainly were not happy about their sons rioting -- it's just not acceptable in most Diaspora Haredi communities.
16. Better way
Sherlock Holmes ,   London UK   (06.24.09)
Most Jews, Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem probably are less than happy about the parade. They should speak to the organisers, mayor and police about keeping the route away from religious areas where it will cause offense. A hetero parade of married couples immodestly dressed and expressing too much affection in public would also cause offense.
17. Sherlock holmes , bad dedective
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.24.09)
You did'nt carry out your dedective role correctly . They do not parade in religious areas .
18. Why does the photo on top...
Marco ,   Spain   (06.26.09)
remind me of a scene from planet of the apes?
