Yet no one cares or remembers when gentiles are to blame for their own problems. The whole country of Iceland just went bankrupt because of reckless gentile, Icelandic bankers. Can you imagine the reaction, had any of them been Jewish? Second, this argument completely ignores the great contribution Jews have given to society - in sciences, techologies, arts, culture, literature, and the economy. The Jews made all their countries fluorish, and never got credit for that - only took the rap when things got bad. Third, it conveniently reverses the blame: the real reason for antisemitism was jealousy of the success Jews reached through hard work and education. And since they had a different religion, behaved differently and looked differently, and had no means of self-defense, they made for perfect scapegoats. Nazis, white supremacists, and various other antisemites have used this battered argument extensively, and now it turns out Nixon was using it too - proving his true antisemitic colors. His military aid to Israel in the Yom Kippur war, while much appreciated - was not due to his love of Israel, but had much more to do with the Cold War calculations, as well as the fear of Israel using its nuclear bomb if it were to fall.

Yes, it has been known for a long time that Richard Nixon made antisemitic comments. He also made comments against other racial/religeous minorities as well. I tend to judge people based upon their actions. During one of Israel's darkest hours, the Yom Kippur War, when the Soviets and Arabs were frothing at the mouth at the prospect of eliminating Israel, the Europeans were sitting on the sidelines with glee, and the world was about to witness a second Holocaust, Richard Nixon sent much needed weapons, against all logisitcal odds, to Israel which enabled the IDF to turn the tide and win the war. Nixon then resupplied Israel after the war and Israel has maintained its superior military edge ever since. Yes, Nixon made lots of antisemitic comments, but when it came time to helping the Jews he was there and did so. The same thing cannot be counted on by Barack Hussein Obama.

It occurs to me that during the religious wars in Europe, the Christian population switched happily between being Protestant and Catholic, depending on the faith of the monarch at the time, despite there being major dogmatic distinctions between the various forms of Protestantism and the Roman Catholic faith. He understood facts on the ground; he understood why wars are fought, how they are fought and what rights accrue to the victor (all) and what rights accrue to the vanquished (none).

That he didn't want to see being used. If it wasn't for the nukes the US would have left Israel for the arabs decades ago. The nukes are probably the only hold Israel has over the US anymore. Obama is proof the US jews can't be relied upon to defend Israels side. The jewish lobby might have had muscle once but today its a fraction of what it was. Obama has also proven that the US isn't going to back Israel all the time, now they have shown that they will not only refuse to support Israel but they will turn on it. Obama has refused to give permission for Israel to buy Apaches but he has at the same time granted permission to Egypt. Without the nukes the military aid would end & if the arabs are willing to pay hard cash the idea of making sure Israel continues to have the strategic edge and arab oil could buy any American weaopon they wanted to buy. If Israel is destroyed to the US political establishment it would be a day to celebrate because there is one less problem in the region and now all we have to worry about is being friendly enough with the arabs to keep the oil flowing cheap. Israel has INDIVIDUAL FRIENDS in America but the on the diplomatic front America is not an ally and hasn't been for decades. Its not until 1967 the US was even interested in Israel ( when the US realised Israel could be that ally they needed to counter the Soviet take over of the Middle East ) Since the Cold War relations have slowly getting worse because the US needs arab oil now not an ally against the Soviets. Since Obama its been like an earthquake hit and whatever good relations we did have are now gone and the US has as good as declared war on Israel. Israel must not let Obama, the leftists or anybdy else talk it into giving away those nukes because once they are gone Israel will be left to the wolves and the US isn't going to allow itself to get dragged into a war just to save Israel whose loss they wont miss.

I don't agree. I spoke to some of the two busloads of soldiers being picked up on October 6th in Jerusalem they told me that something was going to happen in the Golan they could not tell me what. Most of those kids were probably killed the next day.
