11.  Very strange
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (06.25.09)
You cry for Shalit. I hope you feel the pain of this. I wounder if you feel the same towards the Palestinian people, you kill them , you demolish there homes and you put them in jail. There are more than 10000 Palestinians in Israeli jails. give them there rights and let be peace.
12. "10 Nahum, Human Rights for Jews
Jean-Pierre ,   Zurich   (06.25.09)
You are right Nahum, Gilad Shalit is a Jew. But I am afraid these rabbis are not. Ask to see their conversion documents.
13. Wait, stop the presses!
William ,   Israel   (06.26.09)
Israeli Rights Groups finding out that the human rights they claim to be fighting for isn't even supported by the very people they claim to protect. Surprise surprise!!! Now, will B'tselem realize that since the press in Gaza is "not so free", that the information printed there also not be so accurate, if not a down-right lie?
14. #2 - Chaim - misguided
William ,   Israel   (06.26.09)
Isn't that ALL leftist groups? Ultimately drowning in a sea of their own hubris on a fantasy that has never been achieved in the entire history of the human race? Apparently they still think highly of themselves because they voted in Obama and claims he will fix the world, despite his lack of experience and existing circumstance. But why let reality and human nature get in the way..."live in peace or we'll kill you"
15. #6 - Ilana - Don't be impressed with their action
William ,   Israel   (06.26.09)
It comes with a very sick agenda. Lately, because the world is seeing how biased these NGOs and UN groups are, they have begun to speak about other issues to appear unbiased. Yet the article says it all. Though B'tselem wanted to place an ad calling for Shalit's release (after 3 years and no ICRC visits without a peep), they also claim every Pal prisoner is illegal, when infact they are not. ICRC, the Durban conference, some UN groups - all taking up one or two issues that Israel has in order to appear unbiased but really to cover the fact that they are 100% anti-Israel and still justify Pal violence.
16. #11 - Van Harris - Terror is not a human right
William ,   Israel   (06.26.09)
Though listening to Palis and people like yourself, one would guess blowing up children in a bus is a fundamental Pal right. It's not. Palis are in jail for a good reason - it's called breaking the law. They steal cars, they shoot at people, they smuggle weapons, they blow up civilians. All very real criminal activities which are illegal - under Israeli law and even Belgian law (except for Arabs?). Two things give Israel the right to arrest Pal criminals - 1) Pals are technically still at war with Israel and DO try to maim and kill Israeli citizens, 2) without a defined State and security system, Pals are under the law of Israel per the Geneva Convention. Demolished houses? Damn right! Without building permits (and this isn't all of WB, just around J'lem and such) the houses must come down. They know this and do it anyway. Same in Tel Aviv, too. That's the law. Houses on the border used to hide a smuggling tunnel or house a weapons lab? Under Geneva Convention - a legitimate military target. House of a terrorist? Gone and well-deserved! You're dishonest and a general retard. No wonder why Walloon is trying to break away.
17. To nr 11 William
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (06.26.09)
William, you cant fool us. You simply stole there land. Palestinians have the right to do so. This we call ressisting occupation.
18. Mike van Harris
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.26.09)
Wait a little bit , then you will see who are the thiefs . Have a look at the number of "hallal" food places , of the problems True Belgians have with your "friends" in your town . Do you dare to walk in Borgerrokko ? What's about the Koninklijk Atheneum , and this one of Hoboken ? will your "friends" set them ablaze ?
