32. No Aid for Gaza
Dan ,   Titusville, FL USA   (06.30.09)
Where was the concern for Jewish refugees driven out of Arab countries?
33. #30, why are you lying, you've always hated Jews
Human Citizen ,   Iran   (07.01.09)
nothing Jews do will change your mind, not even dead Jews. Arabs forced us to abandon our peaceful native religion and adopt their cult of Satanic death at the threat of the sword. Arabs forced us to use their cursed and vile speech, and forget our beautiful language, and the ones who didn't they cut their tongues. we know Arabs too well, they did to us what they want to do to Jews.

israel navy takes control of aid boat; this is a simple act of piracy.
35. Just pure Cruelity
Yossi normal Israeli ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
When I was in the Israeli Army in the West Bank I heard many time very popular slogan ‘A good Arab is A dead Arab’, since then not to much have been changed. With this mentality I am not surprise that a boat with Medicine to Gaza was denied by the Israeli navy. It is not the security that the army decide to stop the boat, It is the old cruel concept that I heard again and again ‘A good Arab is A dead Arab’. We became a nation that driven by extreme hate of anybody who think that the Palestinians are human being like us. In the long run we will pay a heavy price for this behavior.
36. #9 - Wasn't intended that way. Thanks to Hamas
William ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
There was every intention to leave Gaza to give Pals the chance to prove to the world (and themselves) that they want a State and can build a State. But even as the IDf was leaving, RPGs and snipers were aimed at the troops...for no reason except to build their terrorist ego. Then, the rampaging began - land of Gush Katif that was meant for apartment high-rises were quickly divided up by various terrorists. Advanced greenhouses meant to jump start an economy were smashed and sold for pennies on the dollar. THEN Hamas declared they will destroy Israel and all past agreements through the PA are now null and void. Thus entering Palestinians into a full war with Israel. So, since Gaza is neither a sovereign entity nor a peaceful one, Israel has every right by law to blockade the region. Those who create their own prisons and hold the keys they refuse to use, deserve no sympathy.
37. #29 - If that's true...(response to #14)
William ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
"300 tons is 1/4 of what is needed EVERY DAY!!!" If that's true...then why is Hamas siphoning off imported aid to give directly to their own members? If that's true....then why is Hamas targeting the crossings which only slow, not accelerate the importing of items you claim the Gazans need? If that's true....then why do Gazans use tunnels to smuggle explosives and Viagra instead of the additional humanitarian items you claim they need?? Not that I'm calling you a liar but two things strike me when talking about Gaza - 1) I haven't yet seen a starving Gazan. Most are quite plump, thank you. 2) there was an article about how Gazans were bilked out of millions of dollars by a tunnel investor. How is that possible if Gazans are poor and starving? Can they print money, too?
38. #3 - Didn't you read the latest polls?
William ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
Americans don't care about Palestinians. After the offer by Netanyahu was rejected outright, a lot fo Americans supporting Pals gave up saying they were just interested in violence and destruction of Israel. Wow - even THEY see the light. During a broadcast to commemorate the 6 months after the Gaza War on the BBC - e-mails from Americans supported Israel's actions, stating "If Gazans don't want their houses smashed, don't start wars" I think you can understand why no one is in the streets in the US over this...even in Arab-heavy Detroit.
39. #34 - Isn't piracy in intl waters and by criminals?
William ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
Unless the US Coast Guard is also considered pirates for intercepting and taking control of boats illegally entering waters controlled by the US or breaking an embargo...on say, Cuba. I understand your frustration, now that Meretz and Labor have shown to be Arab apologists and average Israelis are fed up with it...now you're stuck holding the bag, all alone. Tough break in Rehovot.
40. #35 - Also heard many slogans by Arabs
William ,   Israel   (07.01.09)
Like "A good Jew is a dead Jew" "Arabs are superior and the Jews are our dogs" "Jews are the reason for wars, famine, and diseases in the world" "Jews use the blood of gentiles for their satanic practices" and that's just in one Arab daily..... Still, when an entity like Gaza is ruled by Hamas who's very agenda is the death of YOU...it's fair to assume that the army will do what it can to protect even those who wish the IDF harm from inside. Most in Israel DO want peace with the Pals (as evidenced by many polls) and most Pals DO want war with Israel (as evidenced by many polls). As long as Hamas wants the Gazans to suffer, and goes to great lengths to do that, there's not much the rest of us can do. Maybe you can join the next ship that wants to run the blockade....let us know how it turns out, will ya?
41. #35 So I suppose you would embrace THEIR slogan which is "A
good Jew is a dead ,   Jew" Wake up moron!   (07.01.09)
42. This could be illegal
Bloodyscot ,   Texas, USA   (07.01.09)
44km is the limit of the contiguous zone and can not prohibit passage beyond that point. If they boarded without infomating Greece then that could be illegal or even an act of war. Israel forces blocked the GPS but there are other ways to know if they were within the 44km when boarded.
