The safe but very stinky stuff was tested during a few of the regular "fence" protests last year, and the reports I read showed it was very effective. Yet it's rarely used. Why not?
I commend the work of these roboticists. Israel's high school and engineering students are faring well in international competitions and it's manifest during their IDF service. There's no reason Israel can't be a major player in the world of robotics.
