31. Wee dont want them as they dont want us
Tom ,   Jerusalem   (07.03.09)
There is no chance that Jews will ever agree on one-state solution with the Arabs alive. So those who believe that they can inforce a one state solution with the Arabs have to believe that they are capable to kill six milion aditional Jews. We are the majority in this land.Withouth 300 000 Jerusalemite Arabs who are not our citisens and some 30000 Druse of Golan we are 83% of the population. With them we are 80% The Jews by father are also Jews no mater of halaha.
32. Don't be daft, something 200,000 nonIsraeli, nonsettler Jews
Jacq ,   Richmond, va, us   (07.04.09)
live in the West Bank. Furthermore, the Palestinains have Jews in their parliament. Duh. Are you really just not paying any attention? There have always been Jews amongst the Palestinians. The Palestinians are actually, collectively, descendants of Jews. Haven't you ever wondered about the radical Jews who live in Israel and object to the state. Some are Palestinians. According to your article Palestinian Jews don't exist. Israel needs a little bit of post Zionist education to get past the propagandist BS of their founding fathers. Jews always lived in Palestine, and always will.
33. #12 Some settlers asked for PA citizenship in 2005

in order to stay in their homes and not be uprooted by the IDF. They were denied for purely antisemitic reasons.
34. To Freejay 333 # 25.

You write: "Why isn't Jordan promoted as their state? I wish our gutless politicians would promote thie idea, but for some reason they never do. The answer Freejay to your pertinent question is a matter that at all means must be kept secret. The divulgation of this secret would represent the finishing stroke for leftism in Israel. Well, what is this secret? The 24th of July 1922, the League of Nations voted unanimously by all its 51 members the "Mandate for Palestine". The Mandate recognized in its Preamble the "historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for REconstituting their NATIONAL home in that country". (In clear: a State.) The Mandate granted the Jews the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle anywhere in the area between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights, a right unaltered in INTERNATIONAL LAW and valid to this day due to Article 80 of the Charter of the United Nations. The League of Nations also approved the memorandum ot the British delegate, to put all the East of Palestine, the area between the Jordan River till the Desert of Arabia (75% of Palestine territory) under exclusive British rule, and closed to Jewish immigration. This territory became later the State Jordan, with a population of 75% Arab Palestinians, De Facto the Arab State of Palestine. In 1922 the League of Nations gave the jews an embryo of a state on a golden plate. How did the Jews react? With disregard ! Nahum Sokolow, President of the Wold Zionist Organization, declared in the introduction to his two-volume History of Zionism, written in 1918: "It has been said, and is being obstinately repeated by anti-Zionists again, that Zionism aims at the creation of an independent Jewish State. But this is wholly fallacious. The 'Jewish state' was never part of the Zionist programme. The 'Jewish state was the title of Herzl's pamphlet which had the supreme merit of forcing people to think."Herzl's ideology was outdated and Marxism would be the salvation for the Jews. Jewish leftism did not oppose the British Mandatory of Palestine when they breached Article 6 of the League by limiting Jewish immigration to Palestine. This gave leftism the opportunity to limit middle-class Jews and Jabotinsky supporters to enter the country. As wrote Moshe Shertok (Sharett), "Give me the good, not the rabble". ("The seventh million" written by Tom Segev). Leftism fell in their own trap when Britain issued the "Third White Paper" deciding to stop totally Jewish immigration to Palestine. We are in 1939. Hitler started the extermination of European Jewry, and Jews have no place where to go, not even Palestine, that could have been already (till the Jordan River), the Jewish State). So, you see Freejay, to promote Jordan as the Palestinian state requires to disclose the Resolutions of the League of Nations of 1922. In his speech at the Begin-Sadat Center at Bar-Ilan University, Prime Minister Netanyahu said the following: "there are those who say that if the Holocaust had not occured, the state of Israel would never have been established. But I say that if the state of Israel would have been established earlier, the Holocaust would not have occured". You know Mr. PM that this was possible, but it was prevented by the left, but this you have not the guts to tell.
35. #32, What Jews are serving in the Palestinian parliament?
Danny   (07.04.09)
your post makes no sense.
36. #12 Perhaps you didn't read the following
GZLives   (07.04.09)
"A poll released this week showed that PA Arabs are reluctant to grant rights to Jews or Christians within areas demanded for a PA state. A survey conducted by the Arab World for Research and Development among 1,200 Arab residents of The W Bank and Gaza found that they did not feel Jerusalem should be shared with Jews and Christians." Imagine that ... the Arabs don't want Jews in their midst. Who would have thunk it?
37. # 18 praising apartheid
peter ,   amsterdam NL   (07.04.09)
Either you don't know what the situation was like in South Africa before 1989 or you have the same mindset as the National Party of the Afrikaner minority who ruled SA from the 1950's to 1989. Former premier Joh Bjelke Peterson from Queensland was a fan of them, he welcomed many South African immigrants there. Jewish Helen Suzman was the only white MP(Liberal party) who opposed apartheid openly in parliament. Apartheid isn't about cultural freedom, it's about disenfranchising the majority of the citizens for economic reasons. 'Getting along' in a multicultural society means you have some communication skills. I wonder how many Aborigines, Greeks, Italians, Yugoslavs or Lebanese live in your Sydney suburb. Or do you live in Hunters Hill?
38. #37, so why do people call Israel an apartheid state?
Danny   (07.05.09)
when Israel has a clear Jewish majority? Surely by your definition you should be agreeing with the author that the Palestinian minority wish to disenfranchise the Jewish majority and furthermore to ethnically cleanse them - preferably to the next life. Why do i suspect that is not your argument?
39. The author is a moron.
petra ,   uSA   (07.05.09)
Why have an Israel if all arabs can claim ownership? Brain on vacation, or awol?
40. The Pals don't deserve a state.
petra ,   uSA   (07.05.09)
their only function is terror upon Jews first, Christians second, Buddhists third, and Hindus fourth, or when provoked. Not to mention their own two divisions of Islam that is the cause for the civil war in Iraq. Where is Islam peaceful? In the grave?
