31. Crussder King Luis IX
observer   (07.02.09)
was captured and jailed in the Muslim Ruler's house in Mansourah, Egypt. King Luis had a French toilet seat and all the luxury in his prison. That's why the crusaders were defeated by Muslims. Palestine was freed and Jews invited back to home after they fled the heated crusaders' battles. The battle of Mansourah, 1973, witnessed the biggest ever defeat of IAF.
32. No Problem!
Roy ,   USA   (07.02.09)
Slept with cockroaches? No problem. You should feel "at home," since you all are such cockroaches yourself!
33. Curious what's implied in a phrase
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (07.02.09)
Terrorists are at worst "alleged" terrorists, more often militants. Israeli nationalists are deemed "right wingers" or "ultra-rightists" or even "extreme right wingers", but left wingers are never left wingers. And here, they're described as "peace activists", not "self-described peace activists" or "pro-Palestinian propagandists" or "anti-Israel agitators". Some of us, though, have their number.
34. The cockroaches slept with rats.

jerusalem   (07.02.09)
oh no, not me. if so, he's probably a trannie at times i think also all the different branches of secret service in both the US and IL is also keeping his pc on strict watch to prevent any more mishaps or "lies" as you call them.
41. observer #31, How about a little History for Dummies
Jake   (07.02.09)
Don't act like you we owe you one for your great "genorisity" during the Crusades. The Crusader chronicles of Albericus Aquensis give a detailed and uncommonly respectful account of the Jews of Haifa singlehandledly defending the city of Haifa, and holding out against the Crusaders for over a month before the city was taken and plundered. The Fatimid Saracen regiment didn't show up until the city was on the verge of collapse. No synagogue was re-established in Jerusalem until 1267, during the Mameluke era, decades after Saladin. And just to remind you, "observer", the Seljuks, the Mamelukes, and most of the armies that protected the Arabs of the Middle East against the Crusaders were Turks, not Arabs. Saladin himself was Kurdish. I also think your designation of the 1973 "Battle of Mansura" as the "worst defeat of the IDF in history" may be subject to more than a little debate.
42. #40, RE Vanunu
Jake   (07.02.09)

46. The Gazans need to read the book, "The Water Cure", by an
Rivkah   (07.02.09)
Iranian physician who had no medicines except water to treat many diseases of the Iranian aristocracy who were awaiting trials and executions in 1979 after the Shah was overthrown. He found that pure clean water is very curative for diseases. Most of the aristocrats were in recovery even from cancer when executed.
47. cockroaches in Israel? got to be kidding
arthur   (07.02.09)
Houida memorable bout with cockroaches is appropriate, considering the vermin that accompanied her "voyage" on a "mille et une nuit" escapade. Maybe in her next trip we should a few scorpions and rattlesnakes ; that should make her odyssey a bit more exiting.
48. Booo hoooo - sniff sob! keep your noses out our business

52. #10 - They're Leftists, of course they DO
William ,   Israel   (07.02.09)
Leftists expect to be treated like royalty while they work to undermine everyone around them for their pompous ego. They label themselves as self-proscribed fighters for human rights when they actually are self-righteous, ego-maniacs looking for their next buzz....let them protest in Iraq or Darfur but Hilton hasn't opened a hotel there yet, so maybe later if anyone is still alive there.
53. Huaida Aref
Daviv ,   USA   (07.02.09)
The most visible American figure in the International Solidarity Movement is Adam Shapiro, a Brooklyn Jew and college radical, who became a human shield for Yasser Arafat when the Israeli army surrounded Arafat's Ramallah compound following the massacre of 30 Israelis ...at a Passover seder, shortly after the Intifada was launched. Shapiro told me ...he does not consider himself a Jew. He is married to Huwaida Arraf, a Palestinian-American activist from Michigan whose father holds Israeli citizenship. .... In articles on the ISM website where they discuss their goals of dismantling Israel by supporting Palestinian terrorists they use euphemisms such as "legitimate resistance" or support for "legitimate armed struggle" while claiming that they are nonviolent. The ISM uses as its motto "by any means necessary."
54. Israel - don't miss this PR opportunity
William ,   Israel   (07.02.09)
"...they threatened us with violence because we wanted to transfer medical supplies..." Bring in the world media to show the IDF moving these supplies from the confiscated ships into UN hands at the Gaza border. It will just prove how using proper channels can accomplish the same thing and pull wind from the sails of these terror-apologizers. And if Hamas gets caught stealing the aid (again) to re-sell it - and even better story line to tell the world and further discredit these failed activists.
55. They should have slepy with the sharks
Lana ,   Israel   (07.02.09)

An Israeli that was stopped trying to enter a closed military area! She's lucky lucky she wasn't charged for the cost of sending boats to escort her and the other creeps and also sentenced to jail time. These people are proud of breaking the law! Martin
58. THERE ONCE WAS A HAPPY ROACH
Lawrence Tendler ,   Safed Israel   (07.02.09)
There once was a happy Roach,on whose territory "Peace Activists" did encroach, this friendly old chum slept with these obnoxious self-righteous scum,he needs to try a different approach..
59. obvious propaganda
ben Ish   (07.02.09)
Why not try the Egypt crossing? Why not try to help Gilad? Why not ask Hamas to stop rockets? oh no, none of this will do, eh?
60. #5 Your comment had me on the floor...
Etoile ,   Montreal, Canada   (07.02.09)
