1. israel is no longer israel

2. Doing the right thing
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (07.05.09)
The right thing is not always the easy thing. It is correct for Israel to expel illegals and their children. At least Israel, unlike the US doesn't grant the children of illegals automatic citizenship. Between the Arabs wanting right of return and the growing number of illegals Israel is on its way to no longer being a Jewish state! The people Israel wants to deport are not here for refuge, they are here for economic reasons. Anyone who enters a country and stays illegally needs to be ready to be deported. It wasn't as if they "accidently" became illegal. They knew what they were doing when they came and they knew what they were doing when they had kids.
3. Israel can't have it both ways.
Sidney ,   USA   (07.05.09)
If it imports workers to fulfill a national need, it has obligations to them. Anything else would be contrary to Jewish values for which a Jewish state exists.
4. The article argues for their expulsion
Mordechai   (07.05.09)
The article which admits these non Jewish women are sleeping around iwth many Jewish men prove why they need to be expelled. Israel doesn't need intermarriage. It is a Jewish state not an Israeli one. These children aren't Israeli children in every way. They are not Jewish which makes them strangers who do not belong in a Jewish state
5. yalla, kishta from here!

6. Ain'tchu gots no humanities?
Gideon Reader   (07.05.09)
Sheeesh! Don't DO that! For a minute I thought that Cynthia "Buckwheat", "I HATES them damn JOOOS" McKinney wanted to make aliyah, and take her meds like a good little nutjob. The upside is she could **settle** in a new Caravan "Outpost" in Yesh and maybe some worthy Border Cop (or two) could kicketh the crapeth out of her as they comply with the less than ZerObama's mal-mis-and non administration. Of course knowing Cynthia, THAT would take a LOT of kicking, and some B-I-G boots.
7. I am tired of the arguement that the

children will suffer, As long as the children are in the company of a loving parent the child will have a happy and healthy life. My child was raised and spent much of her life shuttling between two coasts and two continents. She was so blase about it at 6 that when a stewardess asked he if she was afraid to fly alone she looked her straight in the eye and said Oh no! I fly all over the world. Picked up her doll, put her hand into the stewardess hand and yakked all the way as the stewardess walked her into the airplane, The travel and new experiences will be good for the kids, and the lesson that you take your lumps without complaint will benefit the kids too.
8. Israel Is For Jews And Jews Only!
Heather Czerniak ,   Milwaukee, USA   (07.05.09)
Get used to it! What is it about this tiny little sliver of a country that the rest of the world obsesses over what goes on here? And why does the rest of the world insist on believing only what Hamas claims is happening?
9. Having "anchor babies" in Israel appears to be ...
Rivkah   (07.05.09)
a problem for mothers and for Israel, too. Hispanic mothers/fathers are mean and don't take the threat lightly that they will take the children with them. About 65,000 children from around the world born to Brazilian women by non-Brazilian males are in Brazil after the mothers fled there and refuse to return the children. Brazil will not honor the international treaty to return children even to legal fathers. David Goldman has been trying to get his legitimate legal biological son back from a Brazilian step-father after the son was abducted by the mother five years ago. She divorced David to marry a Brazilian and then died in childbirth in judgment of her crime of abduction. Her second husband refused to surrender the child named Sean Goldman (Jewish) and a court fight has been ongoing for five years. Hispanics are mean as hell and whoever marries one or co-habits with one and has children deserves what they get. My oldest sister married a Hispanic who abducted her only child and lied in divorce court saying he did not know where the child was. It was 26 years before Rachel saw her only child again. Her ex-husband died a year after lying in court at the age of 34, choking on vomit after getting drunk. Rachel never remarried. It was too awful. My advice is to let the Hispanic mothers go back to South America or the P.I. with the children and never see them again. That is the Bible way in EZRA. The Jews who returned to Jerusalem were told to put away foreign wives (non-Jewish) AND the children by them. Mixed race children of Hebrew-Egyptian marriages caused a lot of trouble for Moses. They did not know who or what they were and whined and bickered incessantly. When Rachel saw her daughter again, the daughter rejected the mother who had suffered so much. When her White grandmother bought her a house and I gave her my car, Eugenia Sandoval of Edinburg, Texas, was so evil she would not even go to see her grandmother in the hospital when she was dying after she was GIVEN a house. She rewarded her White relatives who suffered so much, evil for good and hatred for their love. Kick the Hispanic non-Jewish illegal interlopers out of Israel and send their children packing with them.
10. Same bleeding heart idiots who want Shalit back at any cost.
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (07.05.09)
Their theme is always the same - Israel should capitulate and bear the cost, ANY cost - for their "humanity" - be it the release of murderers, or the absorption of illegal immigrants. I want to see these idiots go and protest to Greece and Italy for deporting illegal Asian and African immigrants, or to the US for deporting Mexicans.
11. וְגֵר לֹא-תוֹנֶה, וְלֹא תִלְחָצֶנּוּ: כִּי-גֵרִים הֱיִיתֶם, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם
Avi-former Sruggie ,   Israel   (07.04.09)
Clear words from Sh'mot 22:20. Wouldn't it be time for the Light Of The Nations to remember this?
12. GET RID OF EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM CHILD & PARENT
zionist forever   (07.05.09)
There is nothing unjust about expelling somebody who is not in the country legally and the fact that they had a child who was born in Israel while they have been in the country illegally doesn't mean that either the parent or the child has any right to stay in israel. I don't give a dam if they haven't been back to colombia in 15 years, they were never supposed to be in Israel. If the Israeli man wants to come and join her and the kids in Colombia he is welcome but the woman can't stay in Israel with or without the kids, this is a slippery slope to then end of Israels status as a jewish state. If you come into the country illegally anyway then numbers cannot be controled but the illegal can have as many kids as they want all of whom will allowed to stay in Israel forever. What happens when palestinians start coming to Israel illegally in big numbers & have kids and then say look my kids can have a better life here than in Gaza they should be allowed to stay and of course them staying will probably mean letting me stay. There is already marriages of convenience between palestinians and Israeli arabs which must be stopped. If we let people from Colombia get away with it why not palestinians Kick every last one of them out the country child and parent and if that means the child doesn't have such a good quality of life by being forced to leave Israel its not our problem their parent should never have been here If this was a country like the US the argument I have been here 15 years illegally & the child was born here as a result so the child should be allowed to stay would not be an excuse and parent and child would be expelled as it should be in Israel.
13. #12 try changing your name
SJ ,   TA   (07.05.09)
to rascist forever ! You make me ashamed to be jewish.
14. there's
ghostq   (07.05.09)
nothing worng about immigrants as long as they r not muslems. they r welcome, maybe you will learn a thing or two from them. like humanity.
15. unwanted illegals
Frank ,   Israel   (07.05.09)
toss them out! they are illegals, were illigals and had children as illegals. They and their children should be expelled from the country immediately. All those bleeding heart liberals have a very real option, they can GUARANTEE these illegal's lives here. They should by law put up 2 million nis to support, feed, school and give them medical care. I do not want to pay for illegals so rich liberals can have cheap labor!!!! They have a country let them return there. GO HOME!!!! and whoever protests this should be obligated to pay. Why should I pay for illegals and their children? Why does this burden fall on me, my family and my country. Liberals have no problem giving away my rights, my money and my future. The time has come when the majority must start taking back what is theirs and we need to start with the courts, and work our way down to ridding ourselves of cheap, illegal labor and the aftermath of all the problems it causes. Cheap labor benefits the rich, not the average person.....do not allow them to continue to dictate and steal our rights.....
16. they are legal
--- ,   Israel   (07.05.09)
they migrant workers are legal..they are on special visas... most of them didn't illegally come here... israel brought them here to fulfill a niche... it is not right to just kick them out after bringing them here, especially after they have established lives here!
17. migrant workers
BM ,   T/A Israel   (07.05.09)
There is apparently a need for bleeding heart do gooders to express views which get us nowhere Those workers who are illegal and who deliberately chose to have children are not entitled to any special clauses or exceptions and should be expelled their children are pawns and no more and of course were never going to be granted citizenship If a worker choses to knowingly break the law they must suffer the penalty these debates are purile If it was a Palestinian nobody would give a damn but because it is a Thai or a Filipino they are set aside for some form of special treatment It is time for the law to be shown to act the same as against the Haredim in Jerusalem and or anywhere - Who are we if cannot enforce the law in our own land and who are we if allow people from other lands to dictate to us what we can and cannot do? If they are legal let them work if they are illegal they MUST go
18. to #15 you loser would you be ready to do their jobs
ghostq   (07.05.09)
will you clean floores and work in thos places for minimume fee or less, no? didn't think so, so shut up, cause they do important job as important as yours, you need to care for them if you brought them to Israel, I don't hear you complain about the free loaders haredim in that amount of decisiveness. haredim don't work at all and make much more burde on your system than you think. so rethink that.
19. The deportation of children. Sounds familiar?
raoul   (07.05.09)
It did happen , not too long ago. And they marched in unison, holding their parents hands, who in turn like cheeps, guided them to their ULTIMATE destination. To Sidney,USA # 3. If importing foreign workers to do the work that Israelis deem below their dignity, ( euphemism for laziness )i.e. construction, sanitation, farming, tourist industry and more, then Israel is obliged to let them stay. Slowly but surely, the land of " milk and honey " is turning into a land of " schnorrers ", a land of " beggars ", a land of " let someone else do it ". The Haredim is a case in point. Their contribution to their " beloved Yisruel " is Zilch+Zilch= Zilch ; Hashem will provide, is their first and foremost important 3 words they learn at the early stage of their lives. Ah!, but when it suits them, the laws of " Adonai " are conveniently brushed aside, so they can burn, beat, injure, swear (a favorite), desecrate" Shabbos " at will.--- With the blessing of their leaders of course --- " the rebbe ". To kick them out, after having established a home, some married, many with children born here, would be no different than " kicking " out ALL the Haredim, Ultra Orthodox, Naturei Karta, back to Poland, to their beloved " schteitl ". After all, contrary to the migrant workers, they contribute nothing to the land, to civilization, like most religions.
20. Wow, where is all this hate from?
INCognito ,   Brooklyn, US   (07.05.09)
These children are Israeli citizens - they are born in Israel, and they have an Israeli parent. Don't you people have any shame? I mean if you want foreign workers to scrub your toilets and not live normal lives (which include sex and childbirth), make sterility a requirement. But to demand people to suspend their lives is too much.
21. If they're going to do it, it must be consistent. Otherwise
5th generation ,   Israel   (07.05.09)
it just looks like racism. The huge number of illegal whites in Israel is much more devastating to the country, and yet it is tolerated. No, embraced. What are we fighting for if we stoop to the level of our enemies?
22. In the name of humanity I as forgiveness
Avi-former Sruggie ,   Israel   (07.05.09)
...for every Jew/Israeli insulting the foreign workers like the talkbackers 2, 8, 9, 12 and 15 do. In veritas, this nation is among the most racist, heartless and short-sighted I've ever known. We should not wonder why missiles rain into our cities or why there's Jew-hate. If this country is for Jews only, as Heather Czerniak #8 suggests, then Jews shouldn't have any rights to live anywhere else!
23. #8 - Spoken from Milwaukee...
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (07.05.09)
...I guess you are one Jew that doesn't want to come here. Good for that. We have enough bigots here as it is. You do know why there are so many foreign workers in Israel, don't you. It's because so many Jews don't want to work!
24. Those children are not...
Rabbi Amram ,   Israel   (07.05.09)
and will not be Jewish because the mother is not Jewish. We have to do all we can to keep Israel a Jewish state. I say kick them out and do it fast before the multiply further.
25. 16
zionist forever   (07.05.09)
If somebody comes into Israel legally with a visa they overstay or simply without even a short term visa then they are not here legally & both parent and child should go. Just because you have been in Israel illegally for 15 years doesn't mean either you or your child should be allowed to stay. If you robbed a bank and it took the police 15 years to find you the fact its taken so long its not an excuse to avoid prison or to keep the money. If a worker comes to Israel legally and has a child whilst they are still here on a valid visa doesn't give them or the child the right to stay for good. Look at what the probable consequenses. somebody comes to Israel from a country where living conditions are terrible & they know if they have a child while in Israel then the child & probable them as the parent can stay then they will have kids just so they dont have to go back. You also look at this womans case she hides from the police but thinks the fact she has been here illegally for 15 years gives her and her children special rights. Would you be happy to have your taxes increased to pay for the increased need for child support? Once either the child or the parent is officially here legally they are entitled to all the rights Israeli parents get like child support.
26. Let then stay
NB ,   TA / Israel   (07.05.09)
These children may not be Jewish but they will become Israelis. I see no problem with a person if Hebrew is his mother tongue, he serves in the army and views Israel as his country. As long as these children are not Arabs or Muslims, chances are good that they will grow to be secular Israelis. In Tel Aviv they will be indistinguishable from ordinary Tel Avivans. Probably we will all prefer Israel to be 100% Jewish. But if we need to make a choice between having the Israeli Arab minority growing out of hand, or increasing the share of non Muslim Arab Israelis by accommodating more non Jewish Israelis we should do the latter.
