1. And will they reject water sent by Israel too?
Zvi   (07.05.09)
Israel pumps a lot of water over to Jordan, in accordance with the peace treaty. I don't suppose these hypocrites and idiots demonstrating in Amman also want to reject all of that water, do they? Heh. Thought not.
2. Boycott those veggies Mo'
Gideon Reader   (07.05.09)
Good. Fresh veggies are not healthy food anyway. Those folks need lots and LOTS of saturated fatty meat and sugar, accompanied by cigarets. And inhale deeply Achmed, DEEPLY! Get that smoke down in them lungs, boychcik. And avoid exercise. You only will get sweaty, and you know how you hate that. Light on the water intake. You dont want to be too well hydrated.
3. Why don't they demand ban of import of water from Israel?
Fran ,   Spain   (07.05.09)
Ah, they don't protest about that because they don't have enough water... Thank god their leaders are alittle smarter than this people.
4. jordanians and palestinians
john ,   leeds uk   (07.05.09)
the jordanians care so much for the palestinians, funny why they didnt give them their own state when they owned the west bank from 1948-67.
5. #1 & #3 - You beat me to it ....
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (07.05.09)
It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the headline. I personally think we should support their boycott & stop exporting anything, including water, to Jordan. We could close the border here in Eilat as well, they don't need our tourist $$$'s & the workers who come in daily can stay in Jordan. But, of course, we know that the whole issue is total BS & has nothing to do with Palestine & actually nothing to do with us. It's just political cover to demonstrate against their gov't. The Hashemite regime's days are numbered.
6. Shameless thieves
Indigenous ,   Nablus Palestine   (07.05.09)
What are you talking about..what water you are sending,,,you stole the water for 61 years and now talking about "sending" water! Look at the minutes of meetings of teh peace agreement with Jordan and at the peace agreement itself and see what is the deal with the water!
7. no problem with that.
JO   (07.05.09)
if that is what they want. They should know that this will affect Palestinians livihoods as well but if that is what Jordan wants then it would be fine. No forcing anyone to buy from Israel.
8. wow, thats a lot of produce....$for IL
jerusalem   (07.05.09)
well, if they dont want to budge, which obviously the dont give a sh^*, then just educate the people about products from IL, let them decide, and see where that goes. maybe some people want ILi produce, who knows; cant cut them people off.
9. They can always get free bananas from Chavez
Zohan ,   Tel Aviv   (07.05.09)
10. This is the "peace" aggreements with the Arabs
m   (07.05.09)
This is what you should expect in the future, Egypt, Jordan and anyone else, the paper with the signature is worth a big fat 0
11. #6 Did Israel invent something to clean the water?
Maria   (07.06.09)
Be thankful! Be grateful,Israel doesn't claim that land.In fact,it's their also. All Arabs belong to the Arabian Peninsula and Egypt. The Jews own land from Nile to Euphrates.
12. GO JORDAN, GO WITH BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL
Marcella   (07.06.09)
You can begin by smashing up your computers and cell phones! The cell phone was first developed at the Motorola plant in Israel. Most of the Windows NT and XP operating systems were developed by Microsoft-Israel. The Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed at Intel Israel. Both the Pentium-4 microprocessor for desktop computers and the Centrino processor for laptops were entirely designed, developed and produced in Israel. Computerized billing technology was developed in Israel. The Israeli company Amdocs is the largest company in the world in this field. Both Microsoft and Cisco built their only foreign-based research and development facilities in Israel. Four young Israelis developed the program ICQ, which is the technological basis for AOL Instant Messenger, in 1996. Israeli software company Check Point is the global leader in Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewall technologies. Israel has the highest concentration of hi-tech companies in the world - with the exception of Silicon Valley. The Israeli company M-Systems developed Disk on Key -a portable, virtual hard disk. When we travel we never neglect taking vital material on this miniature hard disk, with us. Where's your pride, Jordanians? Don't taint the purity of your principles by using disgusting Zionist technology! And your hospitals too are full of Israeli developed technology and pharmaceuticals. USE ONLY ARAB-DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY AND MEDICINE from now on. BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING ZIONIST PRODUCTS: A new arterial implant has been developed in Israel that can lower the risk of stroke, by diverting blood clots away from sensitive areas of the brain. Primate research at Hebrew University is leading to the development of a robotic arm that can respond to the brain commands of a paralyzed person. Two Israeli researchers are creating cancer-killing molecules that will recognize cancerous cells and target them aggressively, while not affecting normal cells. Israeli researchers developed a novel stem cell therapy to treat Parkinson's Disease - using a patient's own bone marrow stem cells to produce the missing chemical that enable the restoration of the motor movement. Insightec developed an ultrasound system for removing tumors without surgery. Researchers at the Technion have developed an antibiotic that destroys anthrax bacteria as well as the toxins it secretes into the bloodstream of the infected body. Ask yourselves, is it worth it to compromise your principles by using this technology?
13. mmm stupid, they r shooting there own foot
ghostq   (07.06.09)
just show that arabs don't know what peace agreements r, and that it's no point signing one with them cause they won't respect it anyway, but than again 80% there r palis so this is no shocker.
14. to #6 the sea of galele and the jordan river
ghostq   (07.06.09)
