ghostq   (07.08.09)
won't have to retaliate, that's all no need to be brain surgeoto know that. this report is kinda pointing the obvious. blaaaaa now I know that their job is easy and a waste of money. you can make thos reports from the data you collect from the news media.
2. UN = OUTDATED USELESS MONEY WASTING ORGANIZATION!
UN = USELESS ,   NOBODIES   (07.08.09)
3. Double Speak
Mike Morris ,   LA   (07.08.09)
Clearly no mention by the head of the UN, of Hizbollah's arming to the teeth - in flagrant violation dare I say, of the UN resolution he was so eager to examine. Oh well... let's yawn... all together now.
4. The Lebanese army.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.08.09)
The army is too weak and divided along sectarian lines to protect Lebanon from internal or external threats. It was sabotaged for more than a decade during Syria’s military occupation and was staffed at the highest levels with Damascus loyalists who have yet to be purged. It is a make-believe army at best, and a part-time tool of the Syrian state at its worst. More about Lebanon : http://xrl.us/bkest
5.  Shut up
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (07.08.09)
The UN is the most corrupted institution in the world. The UN has lost its cedebelety. There is not one UN resulution who Israel has respected. The UN is always pro Israel due to the corruption. In order for Hezbollah to dissarm, Israel must give back to the Lebanese Chebaa Farms and the 7 villages stolen from Lebanon, 2 ) Settlers must dissarm and removed from the west bank . Palestinians must have there independence west bank Gaza and Jerusalem as there capital and finally the Golan and the rights of Palestinian refuge to go back to there country. Then Hezbollah will dissarm and then there will be peace in that part of the world.
6. cooperation?
Jacob Erickson ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (07.08.09)
What cooperation? I guess the Secretary General is just happy that Hezbollah hasn't attacked Israel again, because they've violated every other part of 1701, even assaulted UN troops and taken their weapons.
7. UN & Ban Ki-moon
Bruria ,   Haifa   (07.08.09)
The UN is a bad anti-semitic joke. As for Moon, well, I saw him smiling when Achmadinijoke was screaming about wiping Israel off the map and I saw him grinning ear to ear while wearing a kefiya. Do I think he has anything to say that is worth listening to?? Pffft
8. The most disruptive force in the Israeli-Arab conflict is...
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.08.09)
The most disruptive force in the Israeli-Arab conflict is Iran. Yet international attention is focused on Israel. The pressure on Iran to contain its nuclear program is totally ineffectual, but it is at least visible. There is no international pressure at all on Iran to withdraw its tentacles from the Palestinian territories, and to stop using Hamas and Hezbollah to torpedo any movement towards peace barely as soon as it begins. Meanwhile all the pressure in the world on Israel is not going to halt the forces trying to destroy it and push the world towards a global catastrophe whose reach will far exceed the Middle East. 9. What peace ? nr 8 Ron
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (07.08.09)

11. he he to nr 10
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (07.08.09)
And who kidnnaped the Lebanese from there homes ? The problem with you is, you only understand body bag language. The Lebanses have the right to fight for there rights. The Lebanses used diplomacy but Israel did not listen. Try to kidnap Lebanese and you will see the result of your action.
12. #10 ghostq
Marco ,   Spain   (07.08.09)
How stupid can you be Ghostq? The clock in the Middle East did not start ticking when Hezbollah captured 2 soldiers in 2006 (not 3 as you say) What about the thousands of Lebanese kidnapped by Israel during its decades of occupation of Southern Lebanon? If you believe that Jewish blood is more precious than Lebanese, then you are mistaken and Hezbollah is there and will always be there armed to the teeth as a reminder to ignorant fools like yourself!
