B"H "Tactless Term?" "Unwise choice of words?" Hey editors, are you suggesting something here? ??? Anyhow, the answer is NO. Never Again!
32.  WE HAVE REACHED THE END OF OUR TETHER
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (07.10.09)
I APPROVE WHAT NETANYAU SAID.OTHER NATIONS MIX WITH OTHER PEOPLE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE ETHNICITY THAT EXISTS WITHIN THEIR BORDERS.EVEN ISRAEL PERMITS THIS.HOWEVER THE ARABS ?YOU"D BE PUTTING YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE.THAT IS WHAT JUDENREINH IS ALL ABOUT.IT IS ABOUT TIME THE NATIONS GAVE US FULL SUPPORT,AND DIDN"T HIDE BEHIND OTHER TERMS SUCH AS "THE ROAD MAP".FOR THEY ARE OUT FOR OUR EXTINCTION !
33. Ostrich mentality
eddie ,   london UK   (07.10.09)
Perhaps the writers feel that if you don't mention it, it won't happen. If you smoke, but dotnmention cancer, you will be immune. If you have risky sex, but dont mention AIDS, the HIV virus wont affect you. If you deal with neo-nazi ideologies, whose stated aim is to de-judaize Israel and palestine, then magically, they will not do any harm. This magical formula was used by the Oslo architects, and it casued the Oslo terror war, which led to Rabin's murder. Then the Camp David architect Barak, applied this magic, thinking arafat had changed, and he got a 2nd intifada. Sharon/Olmert withdrew from Gaza in the worst possible way, and they had to go back in ... This is the ostrich mentality.
34. Reuters with its not so subtle pro palestinian anti israel

35. Words Have Power
NYC Girl   (07.10.09)
For far too long, Israel has rolled over and played dead when odious terms like apartheid and ethnic cleansing have been hurled at it. Now, when an Israeli Prime Minister finally has sufficient testosterone to call a spade a spade, Reuters is concerned about his undiplomatic language. Let 'em all go to hell.
36. G-d Bless Bibi and Avigdor!
Frank ,   USA   (07.10.09)
37. Bibi is brilliant! He tells them what they need to hear
David ,   USA   (07.10.09)
38. No Big Deal! There are many places in ME that are JUDENREIN.
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (07.10.09)
Jordan, Saudi Arabia. 1 million expelled residents from Arab lands. Its a matter of national policy. Why should Israel be any different!?
39. Judenrein Is The Correct Term
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (07.10.09)
This is exactly want the Arabs want. They want a Judenrein Middle East.
40. I WILL GIVE STEINMEIER DIPLOMATIC
Lawrence ,   Safed Israel   (07.10.09)
Words : "And what did YOUR Father do in the war?"
41. Oh, please!
Paul ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.10.09)
After murdering 11 million people, 6 million Jews anyone who can be sensitive to German feelings is morally ill, and 1 step away from being another victim of evil.
42. The Germans should stay out of Israel's business
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (07.10.09)
Their "diplomatic" attempts for a second holocaust should not be taken easily.
43. Judenrein
SMelmoth   (07.10.09)
I have been saying it for months, if not years. Hitler killed 6 million Jews, Hamas and Fatah want to kill 6 million more Jews. What's the problem with calling a spade a spade?
44. Ukrainian holodomor
observer   (07.10.09)
Ukrainian holodomor of 1932-33, a state-created famine—not a crop failure—that killed an estimated five million people in the Ukraine, one million in the Caucasus, and one million elsewhere after the Soviet state confiscated the harvest at gunpoint. There is no need to exaggerate the part played in the creation of Bolshe-vism. . . by. . . international and for the most part atheistical Jews. With the notable exception of Lenin [who had a Jewish grandfather and by some accounts a Jewish wife], the major-ity of leading figures are Jews. Moreover, the principal inspiration and driving power comes from the Jewish leaders. In 2003 Levko Lukyanenko, the first Ukrainian ambassador to Canada, was said to have made an anti-Semitic embarrassment of himself on this subject : A History, Jews were . . . disproportionately prominent among the Bolsheviks, notably in their leadership, among their tax- and grain-gathering officials, and especially in the despised and feared. . . secret police.
45. Umm..Ok this is funny
Kareem ,   Egypt   (07.10.09)
And I say funny because it is no way compared to the "Judenrein" that was in Germany! lol Israelis shud live in Israel, Palestinians shud live in Palestine! Kapish?! Palestine is Gaza, West bank and East Jerusalem as the capital. Where's the Judenrein here?! Israeli citizens shud live in the Israeli state, like normal ppl do. This is not ethnic cleansing! If it is...then what do you call your wet dreams of transferring Palestinians to Jordan?!?! hmmm double standards?!
46. How rude of the PM!
Israela ,   Israel   (07.10.09)
Why did he need to be so "in the face" of the German Foreign Minister? Is it yet another expression of the insecure Israeli behaving in an insouciant churlish, brutish manner? How exactly does this improve relations between Israel and other nations? Truth be told there was no need for it!
47. Netanyahu is right
Brod ,   USA   (07.10.09)
It is time Israel tells the world to stop crusading the cleansing of Jews living in their own liberated historic homeland of Judea and Samaria. It is time they stop being deceived and manipulated by the Islamist-Jihadist world to do their dirty work on Israel.
48. No. 46 Israela
NYC Girl   (07.10.09)
Actually, the Prime Minister wasn't "in the face" of the German Foreign Minister because he wasn't making any accusations against the Germans. He was making the accusation, and rightly so, about the Palestinians, although the same is true for the Arabs countries in general. The fact that he may have used an emotionally loaded term doesn't make it any less accurate in the context in which he used it, and I would submit to you that using diplomatic language and sugar-coating an ugly reality hasn't done anything to improve relations either. The only thing it's done is to hand a propaganda victory to Israel's enemies.
49. judenrein
Yoel ,   Ossining,NY   (07.10.09)
The word "judenrein" has a clear and distinct meaning; it means an area "cleansed"of Jews. That word is impolite, and its meaning is repulsive. The real question is: are the Palestinians planning on a judenrein state. That is the fundamental issue. Why focuss on the descriptive word and not the substance?
50. I would submit 2 u, that calling urself NYC Girl
Israela ,   Israel   (07.10.09)
does absolutely nothing to impress me nor does it advance your cause because generally NYC Girls live in NYC so how is it that from there you have a better view of events going on here? Actually the same comment goes to all you Dah!merican Jews with your holier than thou right-wing cheekiness! Come and live here and then form a real opinion...otherwise at least recognize that your TBing is just that TBing a whole lot of hot air!
51. Lebensraum
Giora Me'ir ,   USA   (07.10.09)
would have been the more accurate term for Netanyahu to use, if he wanted to use an old German term. And one with which is he quite familiar.
52. #44 This verbage is why Ukranians helped Nazis
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (07.10.09)
kill the jews in the their country. Just remember, jews were as much victims in the purges as everyone else
53. No. 50 Israela
NYC Girl   (07.10.09)
I don't even know you, so why the hell would I try to impress you? And as far as what you mistakenly perceive to be my "right-wing cheekiness" you might want to consider not jumping to conclusions. Not only that, but I don't have the luxury of merely being a dispassionate American observer due to the fact that my Israeli husband has his entire family living there and he would unquestionably go back into the army if he were needed. And as far as my coming to live in Israel, I'm an atheist so as soon as you do something about the increasing stranglehold the ultra-Orthodox are having over your country, I'll consider it. But for now, I'll be damned if religious fanatics will determine how I get married or divorced or buried.
54. NYC Girl...
(07.10.09)
so if you aren't trying to impress me why go to the trouble of responding? To impress yourself? perhaps? to wash away your guilty feelings about living in Dah!merica? probably? What is it with you Dah!mericans and your silly standard excuses for living abroad? I mean really attacking the religious and blaming them for not living here! Little one, how unoriginal of you! For someone who claims to be "a dispassionate American observer" you are rather passionate my little one! Perhaps it is the standard stock line that your selfhating Israeli husband has been feeding you! After all he's living in Dah!merica with you but if needed he'll come here and fight? Really? So he comes to Israel and regularly does his reserve duty right? Oh sure! But really if you want to do something other than criticise Israel...stop already with your sorry excuses and move here! If you are an atheist well then you will at the very least increase the numbers of the secularists who like me have the courage of their convictions and live here! Otherwise my dear you speak much hog washed verbal sewage!
55. #12 punishable by death? be precise; by death to Arabs
observer   (07.11.09)
56. No. 54
NYC Girl   (07.11.09)
Actually, if you weren't so hellbent on using ad hominem attacks against somebody you know absolutely nothing about, you would have read what I wrote. I said I DON'T have the luxury of being a dispassionate observer and it's precisely because I have a vested interest in what goes on in Israel, although I will tell you that because, in some respects, I don't have deal with the consequences, I don't presume to tell Israelis how to run their country. My original comment only dealt with Netanyahu having used an emotionally-charged term...I wasn't offering an opinion on how he should conduct foreign policy. Now, as to your comment about my husband being a self-hating Israeli, I'm afraid you're really making yourself look rather foolish. In fact, my husband came from an Iraqi family that was at one time quite traditional. And if you know anything about that demographic (and I assume you do), these are not the Sheinkin Street Ashkenazi dilettantes...if you'll forgive the stereotype. In fact, he spent years on a submarine because of his dedication, although he probably could have gotten away with doing the minimum as far as military service is concerned. In regard to your attack on those of us who don't live in Israel, there's something you perhaps haven't considered. It was once suggested to me by a friend who went to school in the States (but who himself went back to Israel to raise his family), that it isn't necessarily in Israel's best interest to have every Jew in the world living there. He said that Israel also needs Jews in countries like America to help support Israel politically. Unfortunately, many of them were taken in by the "cult of Obama" during this past election (although some of us who had ever spent time on the radical left recognized the dangers inherent in voting for him), but that doesn't negate the fact that there are many American Jews who work tirelessly on Israel's behalf, even if it's from places like NYC. Now, having said all that, you might want to consider trying to have a reasoned dialogue with people who mean you no harm, but who may have a different point of view from yours. You might likely find it a lot more productive and enlightening than attacking people you've never even met.
