Should the arabs have 12 kids? Jewish ppl should strive to have more kids. What is the point of being married if you wait a few years before you have kids or decide only to have one or two? the point of being married is to have children. I think it's very selfish when ppl decide to get married then they hold off on having children because they want to "go to medical school" or they can't afford to have a child....nonsense!!!! and trust me the big families with many children are much more normal and healthier mentally than only children or ones with one sibling. With big families it sometimes gets to be where the parents hardly remember all their kids names, much less be able to provide each child with a decent amount of time, love, attention, etc. So unless parents are more the exception and fall into the extraordinary range, (while also having preferably servants), It's perhaps better for parents to have just 2 or 3 kids.

Indiana Roman Catholic families whose mothers had 16 children each! One of my grandmothers had 8 children (one died as an infant that she was buried next to many decades later). Mexicans have lots of children and find ways to feed and clothe them. One way is to send only one child to school each day because there is only one pair of shoes and to let the school know that. To get the federal funding money that is calculated on a daily basis, shoes are found for the children to all go to school. My mother had five children and for many years, seven people lived in an 8 foot by 32 foot trailer because no one would rent a house to a family with a lot of children and my mother did not want to live in housing on Army posts except when overseas. Then it was better than living on the economy. She bought cloth and made clothes which became hand-me-downs. Food was mostly potatoes and oatmeal and rice with a dash of meat and a salad. She did not have to live like that, but she was a miser having contracted Depression Era Psychosis from the Great Depression. When money from my birth father came, it did not get to me I can assure you. But the Bible only promises food and clothes to those who are in God's camp. Everything else is extra or gravy. King David never saw the children of the righteous go hungry. So WHY are people upset about Jews having 12 children when it is all right for Muslims and Mexicans and Roman Catholics and others to have that many. What is more shocking than one mother having 12 children in a marriage is one mother having 12 children by 12 different fathers, never marrying any of them. that happens all the time so more welfare money can be gotten.

That sounds good to me. After all, like many (but not all) things, since having a large number of kids is the natural thing to do for most of history, it is the best thing for happiness. Having one or two kids is an aberration. Of course, it used to be that half of the kids would die, so ppl probably only had like, 6 kids. I know someone who grew up in a undeveloped country, and had eight siblings. She said that she had a very happy childhood. That's just the way things are meant to be. She never suffered from depression until she came over to western society... where depression among women (especially) is like an epidemic.

The mother has a more than full time job , not 8 hours a day , but at least twice that number . You don't know what it is to be waked up many times every night by one or another of them . So don't promote things you have'nt any personnally experience with . We had'nt six children , but have 8 grandchildren , great to sit with them at a table and eat a cake . Not always so "great" for the parents .

The servanthood or servicehood (slavery to some) aspect of motherhood caused my mother who obviously did not love her husband or children or the Lord to do this...to instill the terror of self sacrifice and motherhood in her grandchildren since she was not as successful in doing that to her children, most of whom became mothers and fathers. The only grandchild who became a parent of the eight was the one who did not see her grandmother for 26 years after being abducted by the father who died a year later in judgment without revealing where the child was. Motherhood of a few or of many can be heartbreaking, but accepting that as part of life makes more sense than thinking one is a slave when being a servant is the most glorious occupation.

attain 13 children (you forget Dinah), 12 sons and a daughter. I have supported and clothed and fed many children who were not born of my body physically since I have a vow to the Lord, giving Him what was most precious in life. But of the many children in neighborhoods and among relatives and in orphanages and in foster care, I have found few to be thankful. So I understand the bitterness of mothers since children and husbands are not thankful as the Lord intended them to be. But for them to make a vow as I did is so much harder than to be a servant to children, I would not suggest that terrible a sacrifice to the Lord. But the Lord does listen to me because of my sacrifice and devotion to Him. He avenges me so wonderfully. My life is more like being an angel on this earth instead of a human.
