1. HOW TO LIVE IN PEACE:
Moreno David ,   Ashdod Israel   (07.11.09)
1. Keep your men away from our girls and women if you want our respect and friendship. 2. We sincerely appreciate what you have done and do recognize the personal cost to you, 3. However difficult it may be to reign in your young people, make it your top priority. 4. Complete assimilation will only happen if you convert according to Halacha. We appear to be incompatible. Maybe we will all be happier if you can go to live in the US.
2. "They (collabos)seduce the girls with all sorts of nonsense"
Jetset   (07.11.09)
May be because male population in Beersheba are becoming homosexuals, showing no interest what so ever in women. Israeli women have no choice but to the only interested masculin gents!!
3. a betrayer will always be a betrayer!!!!

4. A shame
Korem ,   New York, USA   (07.11.09)
I have high respect for Palestinians who choose to fight for or side with Israel and I think it's an absolute shame that there is any rift growing. Does anyone know where to find more information about the situation in Beersheba? I pray for the health, safety, and happiness of both parties and for some resolution to appear.
5. global crisis not far from Beersheba

jerusalem   (07.11.09)
lol seducing girls.. pali collaborators should be happy that they were relocated-mighty nice of IL to do that. would be nice if they also helped the rest of the collaborators so that there wouldnt be any more (unnecessary?) deaths like the one a few months back, where he was killed by his family when he was found out.
7. Ynet am I missing something?
(07.11.09)
what is the relationship between this article and the headline on the main page which declares "They're seducing our girls?" Is it just your sensational attempt to get us to read this? Or perhaps there is something missing in this translation? Nu?
8. Akhras is right

They served our security (even if for financial gain) and we treat them like dirt?

What does "our girls" mean? Who owns them?
12. Truth missing
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (07.11.09)
As I read this article I feel lots of facts are being left out. The Jews claim that their girls are being seduced. How? what? by illegal actions or just by these former collaborators talking with them. If the former-- all the police, if the later--teach your daughters how to act with non-Jews. ( we do NOT need more intermarriage, but there is nothing wrong with girls playing with girls of the same age--same for young boys Jewish and Arab) The Arab spokesman speaks of the good he did for Israel. That is true and he is owed our thanks. He also says that the police shouldn't be involved? Why--what is he covering up? If the police are involved than someone is behaving incorrectly. I feel that both sides need leaders who will be listened to and then they need to sit down and find the truth. Half truths, accusations and counter accusations help no one or nothing. They only serve to inflame.

"We gave our blood for the sake of the Jews," kalek you gave your blood for money, anyone who can betray their own people just think what they can do to us
14. Jetset #2
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (07.11.09)
Where did you come up with that nonsense?
15. They did it for the money, nothing else
Raphi ,   Toronto, Canada   (07.12.09)
They didn't collaborate with Israel out of a sense of moral responsibility but rather for material gain. It is spurious to assert that they are on the same level as Israeli citizens who risk their lives for their country, not for money.
16. Seducing our girls...?
Tina ,   Santa Rosa Ca   (07.12.09)
Ynet shame for you for the title and as far as Israelis oweing these Pals for betraying their countrymen, well the fact that they live in among and have sancuary is enough- now carry on with life in an appropriate way ..not harrassing your new found friends and neibors by low life behaviors...come on do we really have to tell you this ??? what happen to common sense? But if you continue to behave badly you will receive crimminal punishment-just as all who go against society- course you could return to your old country mates- it is your choice to choose - and price to pay

18. I am Surprised !
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (07.12.09)
What I was most often told is that Israel does not have the least respect for any traitor who betrays his own people and collaborates with the " enemy " in times of war. To cite one remarkable example: the Swiss engineer who worked for the Swiss Air Force and who leaked the sensitive secrets of the french-built " Mirage " jet fighter to Israel in 1969(thus enabling Israel to manufacture its own " Nesher " and " Kfir " jet fighters) was later totally ignored and neglected by top Israeli officials! That Swiss spy must have been worth ten thousand of those fifth-rate Arab fifth columnists ! I am really surprised that Israel still cares a little about those Arab traitors. You would never trust them after what they have done , so why are you still caring avout them.Let them face their bitter fate which should serve them right !
19. "They seduce our girls". So What!
Yonatan ,   Yerushalayim, Israel   (07.12.09)
Why does this bother you? Get Honest!!! Are the reasons moral, ethnic, religious, or concerns about pregnancy/STDs? Please clear this up since we're not sure what the problem is. Are your daughters to dumb to use protection so they don't get pregnant or STDs? You should have taught them about using protection during sex. Are you worried about them having sex with many different men and getting a reputation as sluts? You should have taught them morality and self worth. Is it because they're sleeping with Arabs? You shouldn't have taught them the ideas of pluralism and secular humanism. Is it because they're having sex with non-Jews? There are NO Jewish values outside of the Torah! The prohibition against promiscuity is there and also the prohibition against marrying a non-Jew. Why did you marry a Jew, where did that idea come from? You should have taught it to your children. If you didn't clearly tell them and go out of your way to teach it to them, then they don't know it. When parents don't like their children's behavior they should stop and ask themselves "When did I teach them a lesson about this?" If the parent can't remember, then the child was never taught! The sad state of Israeli (and American ) Jewry is that parents assume that what they were told by their parents growing up in the way of morality and Jewish identity, their children somehow know by osmosis. Even if you're not religious or didn't grow up in a religious home, your parents still taught you ideas from the Torah. If you refused to teach your children these concepts, their behavior is the result. The result of a totally secular upbringing has always been assimilation into non-Jewish ideas, way of life, and intermarriage. With an increasing number of non-Jews living here and their immigration being encouraged by the government, along with the mixing with the Arab community the possibility continually increases. If you think that you're protected because you live in Israel, you're wrong.

Capt Black ,   US   (07.12.09)
Recruitments of Arab collaborators will probably become more difficult after this news article is read by the Pals.
22. What freiers we are...

You give them an inch , and they take over. Wake up and smell the coffee.
23. To Palis "collaborators"....
Franklin ,   Paris   (07.12.09)
Convert to Judaism !!!!! Assum and complete your choice for an harmonic way of life with the Jewish people and the values you seem to defend.
24. "Seducing our girls"
Shalom   (07.12.09)
Girls will only be seduced if they want to be seduced. If the local arab population is acting in a more "seductive" manner than the local jewish boys, I suggest that the latter polish up their act a bit. On the other hand, it doesn't say much for the girls' upbringing if they are so easily swayed by sweet-talking arabs.
25. 19 dictator
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (07.12.09)
Who are you to dictate morality to the folks in Beer Sheva? What do you know about being a concerned father of possibly young naive girls that sometimes have to walk around the neighbourhood late at night, feeling vulnerable? The girls in question might be below the age of consent - did you consider that? And Arabs are obviously bothering them, trying to have them sexually. These could be older men preying on very young girls - did you consider that? Instead of heartlessly dictating to others things that you appear to not have any experience of, try to emphasize and understand the bigger picture. Because your comments are insensitive and pointless!
26. #25 The Big Picture
Yonatan ,   Yerushalayim, Israel   (07.12.09)
You sound very emotional and upset. The author claims to quote an anonymous source in his usuage of the word "seduce'. Since the author deliberately didn't give any background or details about that particular topic, it's questionable if it's real or if he made it up. Israeli "yellow journalists" frequently pretend to quote anonymous sources to spice up an article and to get people emotionally upset, and in your case, it worked. I deliberately kept emotion out of my statements as well as any indication of any personal identification with the situation so your assumptions as to my status have no basis and are just conjecture. In my first paragraph I asked for clarification of the statement. The word used is "seduce", please look up the definition. This connotes willingness as #24 points out and no mention is made of coersion or rape (actual or attempted). The author doesn't mention the "girls" ages, niavete, vulnerability, or age differences as you did in your conjectures. You mention "age of consent" yet I recently read an article on Ynet of a 14 year old girl and a 17 year old boy reciting the marriage vows in a schoolyard in front of sufficient witnesses and then having sex. They were informed that they're married and the girl received a Get since she didn't want to be married. The article said no crime was committed. In NY that's under the age of consent and is called "Statutory Rape". Two weeks ago a 58 year old Jewish man and a 14 year old Jewish girl were taken into custody after police discovered them having sex in his car on a side street of Yerushalayim (also on Ynet). The article made no mention of what laws might have been violated or what he might be charged with. The girl stated that she knew of many adolescent Jewish girls that had sex with him but the article didn't mention any outcry of men "seducing our girls". I used to work near Kikar Tzion and every night I would see 100's of secular "boys and girls" 14-25 engaging in activities that generally lead to sexual conduct. They were also often drinking and some were using drugs. It certainly gives the appearance of this behavior being acceptable to the secular community. You didn't attempt to respond to any of my questions so I take it to mean those aren't real concerns to you. Based on your own statements (and Israeli Law) you consider it alright for arabs to seduce Jewish girls if the girls are 14 or older and the arab boys are no more than 3 years older, or if the girls are over the age of consent (whatever that is). and the men aren't a lot older. If these are your only objections then you would also be in favor of your daughters marrying arab, russian, phillipino, or any other non-Jewish men since you would not want to dictate morality to them that might be based on the Torah.

Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (07.13.09)
Talking of "conjecture" dear oh dear... you're entire, self righteous message is a long rambling text of conjecture. The Ynet story is very believable because Arabs behave in this way especially to Jewish women and especially to young, vulnerable ones throughout the country. And you writing a heading of "They seduce our girls" So What! then blaming the famillies for supposedly not raising kids properly... this is not insensitive? lol! What planet are you on? By the way, the age of consent in Israel is 16 - not 14. Where did you get that figure from? You're a just trying to put words in my mouth worming out of your previous absurd posting (by suddenly trying to appear intellectual, but again mixing ur facts up) which just shows a person who constantly makes assumptions based on wrongly understood facts - a pattern continued from your original silly posting.
28. We should be grateful to these Palestinians!
David ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.13.09)
I am horrified at the way some commenters here refer to these Palestinian informants, calling them "collaborators" or "traitors" for having helped democratic Israel against the fascist Hamas and Fatah regimes. It is immoral for us to disrespect these heroes that way. It doesn't matter if they helped us for money. It's the fact that they chose to side with moality and peace instead of terrorism and war. All Israelis should show respect to these Palestinians, and all problems of integrating into Israeli society should be handled respectfully but urgently.
