The fact that the overwhelming majority of Arabs resided only briefly in Palestine is attested to by a one-time special UN decree: that any Arab who had resided in Palestine FOR ONLY TWO YEARS BEFORE 1948, and then left, would be considered a refugee and so would his descendants! Throughout history, people were NEVER regarded as refugees if they had resided in a country for ONLY two years because they were clearly CITIZENS of OTHER COUNTRIES!

Not that a resolution of the conflict will result in a change on the ground. Iran will still be there, and Arab oil will still be threatened; Iraq will still be a breath from civil war, as will Lebanon and Palestine. Belgium should give back the East cantons that were taken from Germany in 1925. Spain should immediately surrender Gibraltar to Spain and should give back Ceuta and Melilla to Morocco. Europe colonized all of Africa and most of the middle-East. The Spanish and Portuguese colonized all of South America. The same Europeans that only 65 years ago decimated and expatriated millions of Jews, gays and gypsies and turned a blind eye on the Jewish cleansing from the Arab world. Spain should recognize Jews right of return from the many thousands driven out of spain in 1492.
