Are you referring to the non-violent protests among Pals? For as long as I've followed the regional incidents, I haven't once witnessed or read a report about a non-violent protest there.
Now, if you mean in regards to the response of Hamas or Fatah officials against average citizens...you are soooooooo right. Hamas WAS trained by Iran so only time will tell is Basijis will start throwing people off of roof tops.
