1. You mean like you did in 2006?
William ,   Israel   (07.25.09)
You threatened to also hit Tel Aviv in 2006 when we hit the Hizbullah infrastructure throughout S. Lebanon and Beirut....all you did was drop rockets, packed with illegal shrapnel, on Arab villages in the North, killing many.
2. "no intention of security operations outside Lebanon"
William ,   Israel   (07.25.09)
uh-huh..... and that latest cell caught in Central Asia targeting the Israeli embassy? Were they just selling girl scout cookies?
3. OBAMA THREATENS TO HIT PARIS PUBS :)

4. so speaks nasrallah..
Rollo   (07.25.09)
Pathetic Chiite rant. Like their iranian master, Nasrallrta have to disguis ethe failure of rebuilding the thousands of its followers home in lebanon with empty threats, , coinciding, with the empty thretas the iRG gang leader made today in Iran about targeting Israeli nuclear sites in ca s eof a strike against its nuclear program. In fact yoyu see here the dogs barking to deflect their own failure. Of cours ethese ennemie swill try what they said. Bu they aren't capable to realize that threat and are barking even louder in a way to make thir israeli ennemy afraid from them. pathetic tactic, taht is only of use by shias..
5. REST ASSURED WILLIAM..............#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (07.25.09)
The same will not be true this time round. You may tend to not believe him but he means what he says.Ask the IDF.
6. To Be Honest With You...
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (07.25.09)
Lebanese have the full right to defend themselves if attacked by anyone(legitimate self defense) as much as Israel firmly believes has the full right to defend itself ( ironically Israel's armed forces are officially called " Israel's Defense Forces " although Israel almost always starts the offensive measures-perhaps because it is a military axiom that the best defense is the offense ). I feel piqued to see Arabs being attacked by Israel while they do not hit back... As regards elections in Lebanon I would suggest that Lebanon's parliament pass a law to considerably limit the use of money funds as tempting incentive ... ! Spending much money in elections turns " democracy " into an " oligarchy " ( rule of the rich according to Plato's " Republic " ).
7. #5-and what he says has no means
Ypip ,   Canada   (07.25.09)
other than the fact that he's an idiotic lip dog of Ahmadinejad.
8. sure sounds like he's running scared
bob ,   tx   (07.25.09)
this guiy has lived in a bunker so long he thinks everyone does ... but people on the outside have a life and no lebanese citizen wants to hear this guy chaleneging israel to a shoot out ... when the first missle hit TA, Beriut will make Gaza look like a resort ... then everyone in lebanon can live in a bunker watching your state controlled tv .. another march of suicide bombers, anyone? ... i'll take reruns of the gang that couldn't shoot straight ... whats the difference
9. Israel screwed up bad
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.25.09)
You had a perfect opportunity to finish off Hizbollahi n 2006 but instead you chose to listen to your god of no peace Bush and his secretary Rice and retreat. This serious mistake will come back to haunt Israel.
10. #5 who is he trying to scare off? Israel?
Fred ,   USA   (07.25.09)
The Jews want peace but they can never let their guard down. These days Israel is more powerful that all Arab countries combined. The challenges presented by the enemies make Jews stronger and more innovative.
11. HA
(07.25.09)
"we were scared to win the elections" yes, of course, this is why you did not win the elections, because you are scared [sarcasm] ha god you people are dumb
12. 5-how did you get to London-via Calais?
(07.25.09)
13. #1 Check your facts.
Marco ,   Spain   (07.25.09)
In 2006, when Hezbollah threatened to hit Tel Aviv if the center of Beirut was hit, Israel listened and the center of Beirut was spared. Check your facts William. Nasrallah is known for one thing: He always delivers on his promises.
14. nasrollah taunts
marcel   (07.25.09)
Nasrollah who is ususlly measured and a good war time leader is given to arab bluster. However, he is not a coward like olmert or a US asskisser like livni. 1) he will hit tel aviv next time without doubt IDF has to prepare homefied command and achieve a balance of terror. Not everything has to be an invasion. Stock up on land to land missiles loaded with antipersonnel shrapnel and use it in response to give idf another option. Never mind Mazuz. The whistle of an incoming missile is proven in terror and idf should have this option. 2) Hezbollah is well dug in like the viet namese with the latest soviet antitank missiles and ieds, mortars and booby traps. More extreme variations of gaza operation techniques need to be used to have some effect in flushing. Normal bombing itself will not work. Gas, and other methods especially using locals as shields has to be used without questioni. In this respect, EU and israeli protestors can go to bloody hell with their pathetic protests as arabs celebrate the death of innocent israelis. 3)Syria will absolutely not stop helping hezbollah smash israel with missiles even if israel stupidly accedes to obama and gives back the golan heights. If israel does give back the golan heights, I can almost guarantee oz, grossman, peres, barak, marcus and verter, livni and obama, that Israel will eventually be destroyed and collapse as a state. It will be replaced by palestine rulled by the moslems. Jews will be barred from being president. They will also be barred from certain professions. Synagogues will be closed and some jews will convert to islam. Many jews will leave to other lands.
15. #13, think you'll find Israel
Danny   (07.26.09)
bombed Beirut regularly - including the airport and the seaport and particularly the Dahiyah. Of course the missiles that could have hit Israel were all destroyed in the first hour of the fighting. But hey who cares about facts right?
16. #1, ah yes but....
Danny   (07.26.09)
Dahiyah isn't really Beirut and what he actually meant was the 100m between the parliament and Virgin Megastore and he hit Hadera which is like greater Tel Aviv and he didn't want to hurt civilians and and and and and.....
17. An emboldened enemy - result of deliberately losing a war
Mario   (07.26.09)
Israel lost not one but two wars in a row - gratuitously, deliberately, intentionally, and self-destructively. Clown Tsipo Clown Olmo and Clown Barak preferred to endanger the population of Israel than to offend "the peace partner". Clown Barak is still out there, just waiting to be allowed to do his next circus trick. Israel is in grave danger because of her own stupidity and believing the lies of her enemies.

all u did in 2006 was killing 1000 innocent Lebanese citizens NOT Hezbollah members with illegal phosphorus bombs, destroying bridges and homes ... far ABOVE the ground with your planes! Cowardly NOT daring attempting a ground invasion as ur losses would be too many. #1 u got it all backwards my friend!
19. #13 - Again Marco?
J ,   Chicago, IL   (07.26.09)
When will you stop making things up over and over in these posts of yours? Who is your audience? The uninformed & easily gullible? Two things could have caused the center of Beirut to be spared. a) Your theory. Israel was afraid. So afraid. or b) Israel has no beef with anyone other than the Shiite communities that are the infrastructure of this stateless army. Therefore, anywhere else in Beirut was spared. Hmm, what evidence do we have? People were going clubbing in Beirut. I saw images of partying in the Northern Sunni held areas during the entire 2006 fiasco. If you were correct, wouldn't they be hiding being afraid of getting hit as well? Or did I miss the report where Israel broadcast to the Lebanese that they were too afraid to hit anywhere else? Marco . . . just stop. Your posts are silly.
20. Exterminate Nasrallah
steve from raleigh   (07.26.09)
His entire family, his entire clan, everyone connected with him, everyone doing 'business' with him. All of them. Exterminate them all.

we did ask the idf and iaf and they told us that nasrallah is still trying to clean up the mess and rebuild dahiyah snce 2006 without much sucess. apparently, hassan can't get out of his bunker hideaway to supervise construction and rehabilitation. pity that! where is he? what is he afraid of??? he also begged the idf to send him extra construction dump units so he can clean up the rubble around beirut. it's very very time consuming work and iran is late in payment because their economy s going down the proverbial tubes as we speak. some parts of beirut have no electricity and gas. last winter people and children were shivering in the cold. the idf sent blankets to be nice and curteous. isn't that great?????. they could not find nasrallah and returned back to israel with his blanket. deodorant was also in the package and it didn't reach him as well. he needs a bath asap. it's beginnig to smell something awful in the hole he keeps himself safe in. hameed aboughaze iranian

23. The Rabid Dog Barks
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (07.26.09)
Once again, this slug speaks about hitting Tel Aviv and therefore his willingness to sacrifice what was once the beautiful country of Lebanon before fundamentalist Islam got its slimy tentacles on it. Nasrallah must be made to understand that he does not speak for the Lebanese and hopefully, the Lebanese understand that this toxic cancer in their midst can bring about the complete destruction of their country if it's not dealt with.
24. #13-William is Marco.

26. This Nasrallah character is very strange fella:
leo ,   USA   (07.26.09)
"Yes, we were scared to win the elections, lest we be blamed that we won under the pressure of our arms," For him win is a loss and loss is a win. Hey, genius, why run then? What a delusional loser.
27. Abdel Karim Salim @ 6
leo ,   usa   (07.26.09)
" ironically Israel's armed forces are officially called " Israel's Defense Forces " " There is no irony. Israel never attacked anybody except only in response, which constitutes defense.
28. #13 check YOUR facts
Observer ,   Toronto   (07.26.09)
I think the real reason your dog-faced master in lebanon missed Tel Aviv in 2006 was that the IAF bombed all Hebullsh*ts long range missles within the first 60 min of the conflict. I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to use them from the safety of comfy his bunker - thank g-d for the IDF and IAF.
29. #13 LOL
California Bear ,   Berkeley, CA, USA   (07.26.09)
LMAO. You honestly believe Israel did not strike Beirut because of Hezbollah threats? It really is getting crazy over there in Eurabia I see. The only reason Beirut isn't a parking lot right now is because the U.S. government explicitly asked Israel not to strike Beirut because the Bush administration feared it would weaken the Lebanese government and Saniora. Even Hosni Muburak admitted as much as he knew Israel was prepared to completely destroy Beirut.
30. Rest assured mahmood
Arie ,   BaGolan   (07.26.09)
We truly fear nazirallah as he hides in his roach hole for the past 3 years. Do you think your brave leader will ever crawl out? It seems slithering into roach holes is endemic to the islamonazi world, just like your other hero saddam! By the way, you should notice peretz and the surrenderists are no longer in charge. Another attack by nazirallah and your syrian overlords and beirut forever will cease to exist!
