31. marco the admirer of the inquisition factless again!
Arie ,   BaGolan   (07.26.09)
"Israel listened and the center of Beirut was spared. " The centre of beirut was never a target. "Dahiya" is in the south beirut and was annihilated and has yet to recover! YOU should check your fact marco. I realize that you are still upset that the inquisition wasn't totally successful, and you are further incensed at adolf's failure so you pray for more. So I am curious - when was the last time the occupant of the roach hole delivered on his promise?
32. #13 - and why would the Center of Beirut need to be hit?
William ,   Israel   (07.26.09)
The central power base of the Hizbullah was in S. Beirut, not the center. Israel didn't care about the rest of Beirut just the parts Hizbullah built an infrastructure in and placed human shields in front of. Nasrallah should know that major targets will be targeted. If Hizbullah placed infrastructure in the heart of Beirut - woe to the citizens of that city which don't even support that crony rat. By the way - if Nasrallah really does make good on his promises, how come he: 1) used his weapons on Lebanese when he promised not to and 2) signed a UN resolution 1701 cease-fire agreement with promise to adhere to it only to break it immediately? Your blind support is such a comical dance.
33. #5 - rest assured Mahmood, only his followers believe him
William ,   Israel   (07.26.09)
Those that gleefully support the killing of innocents and dance in the streets with candies. It's not a belief in Nasrallah as it is a strong wish he could follow through. Since 2006, increasing dissent of Lebanese against Hizbullah is more vocal. Only the self-righteous and racist Shia support him implicitly. However, if you think the IDF didn't learn something since then, let them try their luck. Missile interceptors, better communication systems, upgraded munitions and war planes are just a few surprises waiting for Nasrallah as he hides in Syria. The people of S. Lebanon will pay the price for this lunatics actions, as they did in 2006. Let's hope they step in before it's too late.
34. #6 - Abdel - Which actions did Israel start?
William ,   Israel   (07.26.09)
You mentioned that Israel always acted offensively...can you explain when? 1948, 1956, 1973, 1982, 2000, 2006, 2009 - all military actions taken in defense of an attack on its sovereignty and its citizens. The 2006 action was not in retaliation to the attack on the soldiers solely but 6 years of attacks on Israelis - rockets on the North, shootings on Israeli citizens and military, even the building of Hizbullah positions on Israeli territory. The 2009 Gaza war? In defense of daily rocket attacks and continued cross-border aggression. The only time that could be argued as offensive was 1967 war - however, Syrian and Egyptian army movements, months of war-posturing by Egypt, daily threats to annihilate Israelis via radio....all led up to the attack, AFTER months of shuttle diplomacy failed. Arabs are welcome to their self-defense, as any one is, IF they just leave us alone. Notice neither Jordan nor Egypt act aggressively against Israel and therefore are not attacked by the IDF. Peace meets peace!
35. Nasrallah ? the lord has numbered your years
(07.26.09)
Nasrallah make useless noise while you can
36. Marcel
Barney ,   USA   (07.26.09)
Marcel, dude, take a deep breath. the first hit on tel aviv will receive a response that will resemble shock and awe. i don't know if the lebanese people want this or not but they should stop worrying about the "imaginary" aggressor Israel. If the border is quiet and hezzies stay in their 7th century bunker of ignorance and hate, then there is no threat. i think 2006 delivered the message but if they are a little slow and need more of a message-they can get it.
37. Iran's tentacles a menace in the region
Brod ,   USA   (07.26.09)
Should Hezbollahtan unleash their rockets at Israel's cities, Israel should raze them quickly and overwhelmingly. And finish the job within a day or two. You cannot fight fanatics with rockets by tit for tat. Israel's defense should be better than 1967. It does not matter what the world of AntiSemites and Islamist-Jihadists say. What matters is that the enemy is defeated quickly and decisively with overwhelming power. This is for the good of the region and the world.
38. Israel has no interest in "hitting" Lebanon
JO   (07.26.09)
so this is all fancy wordplay to keep them from having to face the cold in Lebanon. Their existence and reason to be is at stake. And since it is all about Israel Israel Israel, without which they would have to answer too many questions about themselves.
39. A VERY FAST BLITZ THEN ???-!!!.
ORAO STRANKA. ,   TSARIGRAD U SRBIA.   (07.26.09)
Nasrallah threatens to hit Tel Aviv CAN HIZBULLAH DO THAT ???, PROBABLY WITH ROCKETS THEN. ISRAEL MUST CHARGE NORTH IN A VERY FAST OFFENSIVE. Orao.

Iron fist   (07.26.09)
Th ecenter of Beirut was sparred you said ? mmh.. and what is Dahiya completely flattened.. Is that a suburb of the moon or rtaher from Tehran ? very comical folks. A dog without theets bark louder. The truth is that if Iran push the Lebanese Chiite in a fresh war, the answer will be to take the fish ou of the pond.. It will be the Lebanese Chiite Nakba, and their leader could a well open refugees camps near Damascus or Teheran..Bif fat turbanne dmonkey know s it.. yet it barks beacus etalk is cheap..
41. Nasrallah soon you will join mugnyeh
dovdevan ,   ashdod,israel   (07.26.09)
Nasrallah is a rat i hope that he has a good air conditionned system because when he speaks we can see him sweating from his bunker ! it's been 3 years now that nasrallah didn't dare puting his nose outside because he knows that he will join the long list of those who are still waiting for the 72 virgins !
42. #14 marcel
Hezbollah ,   Lebanon   (07.26.09)
Our problem is not with Jews. Our problem is with Zionist Israel. Judaism is a heavenly religion that we believe in, but we do not believe in Zionism and niether do we believe in the criminal state of Israel.
43. Nasrallah a lip dog ??
Ben   (07.26.09)
No, no, Ypip # 5 from Canada. You are wrong. Allah has decreed that he should be a full fledge Idiot. The Lebanese people deserve at least one. Being a reject from society, like most would be dictator are, he must compensate his shortcomings by inflating his ego. HELAS ! Allah was merciless ; so, from his rat hole, he must display some semblance of leadership, power.--- So ,Tel-Aviv be it. He is even willing to have the Lebanese people accept the consequences in full -- the end of Lebanon and, just like Hitler, (one of his favorites),blow his head off after leaving a pile of ashes as his legacy. All of this, the legacy of Allah's error in judgement.
44. Tulips of Holland
Jo ,   Amsterdam Holland   (07.26.09)
45. #13 Wow, he's so special
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.26.09)
Nasrallah's terrorist escapade in 2006 cost Lebanon billions of dollars in damage and the repair work is far from finished. He has the nerve to once again threaten Israel. Nasrallah is barking for his master in Iran to throw him money. Further, Israel's response in 2006 was targeted at Hezbollah strongholds and they found them without Nasrallah's assistance.
46. #42 - Judaism as a heavenly religion
William ,   Israel   (07.26.09)
Yeah, I'm not sure your version of "heavenly" really matches the rest of ours. Since before the State of Israel, Muslims subjugated Jews all over, just as they do to Kurds, B'hai, and non-Arabs living among them - only specific jobs they can hold, specific places to live, and that darn dhimmi tax. You neither have to believe in Israel or Zionism for them to exist.....we are here, we're powerful and self-reliant, and we have one thing you never will....a majority world vote into existence....actually, didn't you receive the majority world vote to be disarmed?
47. TALKBACK 39.
ORAO STRANKA. ,   TSARIGRAD U SRBIA.   (07.26.09)
OR IS THIS PROPAGANDA, IN ATEMTING A TRY, TO TURN ISRAELI PUBLIC OPPINION AGAINST SUCH AN ISRAELI STRIKE ???. Orao.
48. to #3 watch out, you might get hangover.

49. what the hell just hapen here 39 or 47
ghostq   (07.26.09)
is he talking to himself? mmm don't get it.
50. in response to #17....
Brian Gottesmann ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (07.26.09)
....I could not dsilike Olmert, Livni or Barrack any worse, I am of the Ichud Leumi camp (Hatikva), and both of these wars should have continued, but I disagree that we lost either. The quiet in the North and South say we won both overwhelmingly, which is the reason Hamas and Hezbolla have been behaving.
51. Yes We Can
(07.26.09)
52. #40 Iron fist
Marco ,   Spain   (07.26.09)
You love fancy names dont you? Where was you IRON fist is 2006, it was not Iron then, it was more like a banana fist idiot! Dahiya is not the center of Beirut, idiot. Check your facts. If you won the war then tell me why none of your declared objectives prior to the war were achieved and tell me why have ALL of Hezbollah's objectives been achieved?
53. idiot...idiot (twice in 2 lines!)
Judah   (07.26.09)
great arguments- such talent to start name calling!!! Ignore Nour and Marco- they are full of their own lies trying to rile things up and at least it supports Israeli news networks! Maybe we should make them write more... Or should we ignore?
54. #52 Marco of Hezbollah
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.26.09)
In case you didn't notice, Israel's iron fist was eventually down Hezbollah's throat in 2006. Check your facts. You lost over 600 fighters and many dropped their guns and ran like scared rabbits. Like cowards, they fired katyusha rockets from within civilian populations hoping this would deter Israel from firing back. They didn't care how many civilians they endangered. Israel didn't go to war with declared objectives. They fought a defensive, war against terror provoked exclusively by Hezbollah. You may feel Hezbollah's objectives were achieved but nothing they accomplished justified the damage caused in human suffering. Maybe that's why you hide behind a Spanish identity.
55. Nour and Marco are probably our own rotten left wing small.
(07.26.09)
56. #53 Judah
Marco ,   Spain   (07.26.09)
You should be ashasmed to use the name Judah, especially that you are a fake Jew. A true Jew is one that follows the TORAH, and obviously you dont. Googe 'Jews against Zionism' and educate yourself about true Judaism.
57. TALKBACK 49.
ORAO STRANKA. ,   TSARIGRAD U SRBIA.   (07.26.09)
WELL - THE SAME THREATH AS A PRINCIPLE COMES FROM IRAN THREATHENING ISRAELI ATOMIC NUCLEAR SITES. THEY POSSIBLY FEEL "PRE-COMBAT STRESS", AND TRY TO INTIMIDATE. IF THIS IS THE CASE, I DO SPIRITUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT ISRAEL REGARDING PREPARATION HAS DONE, OR ARE NOW PREPEARED TO DO. ANYHOW, I HAVE ALWAYS SUSPECTED THE HOSTILITIES ON THE GROUND WILL START AT THE NORTHER BORDERS. MMM !!!. Orao.
58. #54 Cynthia, USA
Marco ,   Spain   (07.26.09)
Human suffering was due to your criminal Zionist non Jewish nature. Like it or not Cinthy baby, Hezbollah achieved All its objectives in 2006 and the illegal Zionist state of Israel achieved absolutely nothing but massacring women and children. I am not Spanish dummy. I am in Spain but I am an American citizen fool, graduate of the University of Southern California. Did you finish high school Cynthy baby?
59. GET IT STRAIGHT AND GET IT RIGHT..........#54
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (07.26.09)
Since we are theoratically discussing an evn which has not occured,no need to say more than the fact........Tel Aviv residence will have sleepless nights should Israel launch any furthher attacks. You don't have to agree to what I write but stay away from these sensitive areas else we may miss your usual rhetorics in Ynet coloumns.:)
60. my name
Judah   (07.26.09)
by birth (after the 4th son of Jacob). I do not need to look up sites on Judaism and the torah. I breathe and live it every day of my life-since age 6! LOL!!! And what the @#$%#% is the connection? See, I am getting you to support ynetnews Israeli online news !! You should be ashamed for one who donates to a terror organization and yet supports an Israeli news company.
