what aspect of Sharia does peaceful gathering to mourn the dead violate? The Islamic Republic of Iran is teetering on the edge of complete social turmoil and collapse. Frankly, I hope somebody gives it a good shove, which will rid the world of this hateful, violent regime and allow the people of Iran reasonable democratic freedoms.

you seem to have better inside sources than anyone else in the media Police, IRG, Basij are one and the same in Iran, tasked to quell internal dissent, this is police work in a normal country

About Sharia of Islam that makes you write the crap you have in your talk-back? No one in Iran has ever stopped these observation of mourning ceremonies at all.For your information(although you already know about it)these gathering were halted simply to ensure that no new riots take place. It could have been in any country where safety of citizens is a top priority.Stop indulging in religious affairs with little knowledge that someone might have passed to you.
