31. #22 Ash in London please show some respect
Avi ,   Israel   (08.02.09)
'Open minded to tollerate gay bars in the holy land" How dare you ? Show some respect for the victims here, its people like you and such comments that have lead to this horrific crime. You should be ashamed of your self . We have been the subject of a hate campaign from the Shas party the results of which were demonstrated last night when two young people were murdered in cold blood their crime for being gay ! Shame on you.
32. Rivkah, you are repeating an outright lie.
Susan_F ,   Pullman, WA   (08.02.09)
Have you no respect for the dead? How dare you respond to this tragedy by spreading lies.

36. Despicable act of violence against peaceful gay community
Nour ,   Palestine   (08.02.09)
The perpetrators may have shot and killed two people but they'll never be able to kill the momentum towards equality and dignity for LGBT people. Pathetic bunch of homophobes, who must be tried and punished!!
37. # 5 You are an IDIOT
sammy ,   jerusalem israel   (08.02.09)
as a religious jew , i can say this is in no way justifiable. who lives and who dies is not up to any of us. saying that , let me ask you this. in the photos of the magen david adom responders arwe they not wearing black kippot? you can bet on shabbat they dress in all black. you want to hate on people ,maybe you should hate on them. why not? you seem to just spew hate no matter what tragedy bestows us in israel. think before you speak , youll sound smarter.
38. How terribly terribly sad.
Talula ,   Israel   (08.02.09)
This is what it's come to. Killing someone because you don't approve or agree of their lifestyle? The murderer is a bigoted bastard and he must be caught and locked up - or better, hung. It's a sad day in Tel Aviv today. A very very sad one indeed.
39. murder
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (08.02.09)
This crime was done by an INDIVIDUAL, not a government organization. Dont equate Israel with Arab nations .The police are looking for the murderer, Shas has condemned the killings! Some of the bigots here would be more likely to kill Haredi than a Haredl would be to murder a gay. My sympathies to the families of the dead and my prayers go out for the full recovery of the injured.
40. to #35 stop posting fake TB in my name.
ghostq   (08.02.09)
I don't have gay people in my family but I don't have problem with them at all in fact it's makes me giggly when gay find me atractive as long there r no touching, I can't help it when I am irresistible.

Add some of your biblical codes you often mention, this way you'll have some extra nonsense in your post.
43. PA condemns the GLBT shooting
observer   (08.02.09)
it has only made Israel stronger and erodes the peace process.
44. I hope
Raptor   (08.02.09)
all those attacking me will have the guts to apologize when the headline," Haredi apprehended for gay shooting " appears, as I have no doubt it shall.
45. to 39
fooz ,   jerusalem   (08.02.09)
i think ..it is a crime related to hate and revenege .. more than it is related to religion or nation ... israil said about hamass and hizballa and iran it is becouse the religion of hate ... always there are religouse and non but crimes apear for other reason ..it is for hate becouse of lose of justice as evry one want to defende its right ..whatever he is ..religouse or non araby or none ...it is human feelings and it is of little faith whatever who is the killer
46. horrid
Ilana   (08.02.09)
My condolences to all the families. It is very upsetting. It is very disturbing that in a country so badly pained by constant never ending terrorism, that we have to cry as well for those killed by our own. How many times do we have to sit in front of the TV and cry? And so often for kids! I am very sad.
47. #15 Rivka show some respect for the victims
Avi ,   Israel   (08.02.09)
Rivka you should be ashamed of yourself, spreading false accusations and flanning the flames of hatred which is exactly what led to the deaths of these two young people. Im over 45 and my ex of 10 years is my best friend . You should do your self some deep thinking and learn to behave like a human being, you sicken me.
48. Murder is wrong
Mitchell Cohen ,   Efrat, Israel   (08.02.09)
As a Torah observant Jew, I condemn the murder of the teens in Tel-Aviv. Gay, straight, Jewish, or not, murder is wrong. My condolences to the victims and their families. I hope the murder is brought to justice, whoever he/she is.

i don't really have much to say but rivkah you're an idiot!
50. By mistake I 'recommended #24's
(08.02.09)
odious comment. In fact I felt like puking, as many of us do, at his monotonous 'black' mantras of hate. His (and the avis and one or two others) words are always the personificaton of black, in all its narrow minded and unsavoury ramifications. I hope we are all more tolerant than these 'reidihaters. So busy with their bile, no words of comfort for these poor kids and families. YOU lot are our real and festering problem. (Hope saggys your first name and not connected to Bar Refaeli's newest Jewish Israeli friend. She deserves better than that) D.B So who throws the filthy nappies(diapers) and rubbish cans at the police? Not E haredi, not N karta, then whooo else? They showed up very well on tv and certainly belonged to a major prominent group of non zionists. Please enlighten us. Our thoughts are with the broken hearted and worried families of these youngsters. I think there may be more effective places of guidance for these teenagers. I read of something called jonah.
51. to #49 back off she is right, reality
ghostq   (08.02.09)
nothing else.
52. covert op?
starvo ,   san diego, ussa   (08.02.09)
Consider the political implications. This incident could be used to discredit the far right in Israeli politics, preparatory to a NWO-ordered pullback from the occupied terrotories, to clear the way for Israel's participation in an attack on Iran. Or it could be used as an excuse to seize guns in private hands. Either way, I smell a covert op.
53. Re: #33 Avi, show true respect
Ash ,   London, UK   (08.02.09)
Avi in Israel. You're doing a true dissservice to the LBGTs by your justification of this act. "its people like you and such comments that have lead to this horrific crime." Does it not cross your mind that people can be against the demonstration of *any* sexually-oriented lifestyle (be it hetro or homo) and yet deplore violence and embrace Gay jews as Jews despite our disagreements. You're equation of a position based on faith with the acts of yesterday that is truely horrifying, and shows a lack of respect towards all Jews. My condolences to family and friends of the victims.
54. 52 Starvo: Amen. President Franklin Roosevelt said that
Rivkah   (08.02.09)
things do not happen by chance. When something happens, it is planned.
55. 42 Dave: Read the book of Isaiah...
Rivkah   (08.02.09)
There is going to be a nuclear attack on Jerusalem (women are bald and ravished) and the mighty men are killed BECAUSE of the flaunting of sodomy, women with wanton eyes, and cheating the poor. Many people who are innocent are going to be slaughtered and raped because of God's displeasure at sodomites defiling His holy mountain (Jerusalem). Tel Aviv is not Jerusalem, but Torah-less sodomy is endangering innocent people there, too, since God hates it. Why does the devil love sodomy? Because the Lord hates it. The sodomites were as Torah-less as the shooter. Who will receive greater condemnation from the Lord? Unrepentant sodomites go to hell. The shooter has time to repent, so his crime is the lesser crime since God could show him/her mercy while no mercy will be shown to the Torah-less sodomites who were killed. They died in their sins. Be ready for death at all times by forsaking the Torah-less behavior of the heathen which is unbecoming of Jews in their re-established homeland.
56. #55 No shame in love
Eli Cohen ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.02.09)
In a civilized society, one does not kill. A 16 year old girl died because some extremist decided to play "God". How dare any human assume such grandeur? Blessed be the peace maker. My deep condolences to the family's of these brave young Israelis. There is no shame in love, but there is in hate.
57. Oh Rivkah - you're too blind to see what's in front of you
Miri ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.02.09)
A child has died. And a man who wanted nothing more than to help others who were confused and cast aside by society. Stay focused on your books - they hold all the answers don't they? Maybe that can help you avoid feeling any of the pain and suffering that these people and their families are going through. If there's ever an attack on Jerusalem, it will be because people behave like sheep blindly following what a book says rather than using their brains, hearts, and lessons from history to guide them. My deepest condolences to those brave youth - may their memory live on in the hearts of all of us who have a shred of humanity left.
58. The act of murder is never justifiable
AK   (08.02.09)
Yet, before accusations start flying, keep in mind we do know who the perpetrator was and what were his motives. Black garb means nothing. Hopefully, police has better description of the murderer. Condolences to the families of the victims.
59. never is murder justifiable in Torah, but in Talmud
