and am certainly shocked and feel for the families who have lost loved ones, I think that it is ill-advised to blame a political party who does not agree with homosexual behaviour. Minister Ze'ev's previous statements never called for violence of any kind. In fact, I can only think of one religion which executes gays in modern times (no need to mention which religion, as I am sure it is quite clear). The fact is, that any individual who on a psychological or physical level which differs from the norm, is considered as having a disability or sickness. This cannot be disputed, as any depressed, schizophrenic, or socially challenged individual will tell you - these people need treatment (although even available treatment has not yet progressed to a level of 100% effectiveness). Thus, I would not place blame of any kind at the feet of anybody who merely sees a problem and wishes to actually find treatment for it. Had these people (GLBT community) invested all of the funds raised in support of strengthening this illness, towards actually curing this illness, we wouldn't see so many lost souls and broken families.

To say that Shas is guilty of murder because it does not support GLBT is the same as saying that leftists are guilty of murder after every terror attack because they support a Palestinian state. Niether accusation is fair. Niether Leftists nor Shas believe that violence is the way btu they each have their own convictions which they promote non-violently. (In the case of Shas it is always very far from violence).

Of course Shas politicians don't want people being shot. But... if you talk a lot about how bad a certain group of people is, some unhinged person will eventually take it a step further. im sorry to disagree with you but as a gay man we have been the vicious target of a hate campaign lead by Shas. We all knew it was just a matter of time before someone carried out their words. It started with vicious homophobic slander which has now turned to violence, You do not live here in Israel and neither can you possibly understand what it is like being the target of such a campaign, In europe i was attacked for being a jew in israel i am attacked for being gay. Two young people were murdered in cold blood , what would you say if someone blaimed the jews for swine flu, earthquakes , refered to you as filth and mentally sick?
