If we are to believe the polls, you are correct, the majority of Jews will accept a Muslim-enemy state in the West Bank and Gaza; perhaps east Jerusalem. Sadly. Might I suggest, there are times where there is no choice but to fight and to stay the course? Is there any doubt in your mind, the Allies (Churchill) did the right thing in the midst of terrible loses against the Nazis? The Allies fought until they were victorious. In a 1941 speech, Churchill said: "Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." Same holds true with Israel. Who the h.... cares what Fatah or any other Arabs say? We should NOT react to their declarations. We should just make our own. We are a sovereign, Jewish state with ancient, valid historical rights to our own land. These rights have even been internationally recognized by both the League of Nations after WWI and by the UN after WWII. In 1994 when Israel signed the Oslo Accords which called for a 2 State solution, it began pulling back troops and handing cities over to the PA, which brought terrorists from Tunisia back to the region. While Israel publicly recognize the Pals and the 2 State solution, Pals refused to change their charter and schoolbooks which calls for the destruction of Israel. The PLO and PA have never recognized Israel officially, and a Fatah member stated so recently...again it was stated in the Convention. They were required to accept Israel in BOTH English and Arabic! (something they always refused). Arafat was caught telling people the Oslo Accords were part of a step solution to undermine Israel. Arafat was caught aiding and paying terrorists to act on Israel while pretending to know nothing (proof taken from Mukata when IDF broke in). And PA leaders went on record saying that deception is part of war. All Israel is guilty of being naive...which our Left is still, but the rest of us know who YOU are now.

The truth is that Israelis want all the land they have now, plus Gaza, the West Bank, Golan, and whatever else they can grab. This new Israel is for jews only, and any non-jews wanting to live there, must do so as 2nd class citizens and work as servants with little or no rights. Syria was bombing Israeli farms and villages from the Golan Heights long before '67.
