Deeds speak louder than words. President Obama’s deeds show clearly that he is not a friend to Israel and should not be trusted as such. The banning of all building in Jerusalem & the west bank, awarding a medal to a proven Israel basher are just the tip of the iceberg. Ricardo you are arguing well- however- after all is said and done: Until now, Israel has been singled out by America to the point of neglecting All other countries- diplomatic relations with the world are at an all-time low- . Arab countries see the US as well as Israel as the enemy- . Ask yourself when history took a turn for the worse lately. Not talking is not constructive- telling everybody they are stupid and anti-semitic is not a base for negotiations. I am pro-Israel- but as an outsider I can tell you, your country's dependency and focus on the US has alienated European countries, not to mention Arab countries- . The accusations and insults by certain TBs are amazing- personal opinions are fine- but a country has a right to make decisions without asking permission from Israel, its citizens etc...

I am not sure about AIPAC reaction, on one hand who are we to decide for the u.s president but on the other hand if we played it right we could have instead present a new approach towards Obama in which we'd show fear and dis trust due this his actions making it more UN-CLEAR to the u.s if we are going to do as we are asked by them and that means no STRIKE IN IRAN (at least not yet) but if we can not feel that high confidence we have always used to have with previous u.s govs then we are so in fear that we may not listen and strike without involving them. THAT SORT of attitude would have caused panic in the u.s gov and would also affect their actions ,drawing them to israel to try and calm us down and pet us just so we won't do anything stupid out of plain fear from our surrounding enemies.

I can't speak for Mary Robinson but I can say this: Israel is occupying the Palestinians in a brutal and vindictive manner. Recent reports by The Red Cross, Human Rights Watch, Oxfam, Save the Children, Cafod, Amnesty all say the same - and provide evidence to back up the claim.
