1. Stop being cry-babies. Israel is a tough place for everyone.
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (08.06.09)
I've been in Israel 3 years, and am astounded at how everyone attacks everyone else. It's tough for the gays. It's tough for the Chardim. It's tough for women in the army. It's tough for the Arabs. It's tough for the "settlers". its tough for the Olim. It's tough for the Sefardim.etc etc. It's a tough place. If you want to have special privileges go somewhere else. Try San Fransisco. We've got more important things to deal with than having our PM run to give you a tissue.
2. Are they being advised to do this
xray   (08.06.09)
by a PR firm as its nearly 100% probable that one of their 'own' did this? Terrible tragedy. Security at the place would have helped a lot. That's the first conclusion you need to deal with. Stop being ruled by self pity.
3. Intolerant of Immorality
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (08.06.09)
Tolerance is not absolute. Morality is. Being tolerant of immorality is immoral. Being intolerant of immorality is moral.
4. #3 Reuven and his so called morals
Avi ,   iSRAEL   (08.06.09)
Once again you judge and slander others based on a religious belief. Yes i am gay, that is my sexual orientation i do not live by the Torah and neither do i want to belong or asociate in any way to a religion of tollerance and hatred which persecutes people for the way they are. The two young people that were murdered in cold blood did they deserve to die cause they were 'imoral as you so call put it? Two jews were murdered and you use this as a chance to slander others, so please Reuven i think you are the last one to be teaching morals.
5. to the GLBT community...
lildoobird ,   Israel   (08.06.09)
be less provocative to recieve more sympathy and less attacks of hate crimes. Stop defining yourselves solely on your sexual preference and emphasize how much more there is to your lives than sexual definiton. You contribute to sports, culture, finance and politics. Stress that and you will have a more understanding public.
6. #1 Your ignorance knows no boundaries
Talula ,   Israel   (08.06.09)
Being a tough place to live and being persecuted - and killed - because you are gay has nothing to do with being tough. Your comment is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most stupid to grace these talkbacks. What an Idiot you are.
7. #3 is a just an arrogant small-minded Moron
israel   (08.06.09)
8. #5 Aaaaaaand you are another Moron!
(08.06.09)
Honestly, if you haven't anything intelligent to say, you should keep quiet. You clearly know SQUAT about gays and how they behave. What a sad pathetic excuse you are.
9. #3 Reuven's comment.
Jordan ,   Brampton, Canada   (08.06.09)
What you call "immoral" others call it "socially acceptable". As long as it doesn't hurt anyone there is no reason to be intolerant of two harmless homosexuals.
10. Dear Avi, Jordan et al,
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (08.06.09)
Calm down people. 1. The murders and attack are to be condemned, regardless of the reason (and as yet we do not know who and why). 2. I do not hate homosexuals or lesbians. Absolutely not. All human beings deserve respect, however immoral acts are to be condemned regardless if it is murder, adultery, (child) pornography or the homosexual act. 3. Any society which embraces homosexuality as acceptable and as a legitimate lifestyle is doomed to disintegrate. 4. Individuals who have tendencies to such matters (just like anyone with a compulsion to commit a crime) must attempt to supress or rechannel their desires so that it will not result in this behavior. Condoning this stuff is icky-gooey. In the end, this specific case could probably end up to have been "an inside job" (sorry for the puns) and have less to do with hate then with jealousy or anger.
11. #1&3 Kol Hakovod to both of you.Immorality abounds for the
weak&lazy.Morality ,   is for the powerful.   (08.06.09)
12. On the bright side, this is the most disinfected the center

14. #1 and #5 so true. But
bn   (08.06.09)
the truths hurts as we see, and they can't take it. Those kids couldn't have a guard at the door of this club as, boo hoo, it would 'frighten' them. Ever heard such nonsense in your lives? You tried that YOUR way and it didn't work, did it?! So learn from it. Teach them to grow up and face life, They've made their choices ( (or maybe not) so train them to live with their choice. We all have to. It's a bigger mitsvah than pandering to their boo hooing. Bruria of Haifa sent an excellent talkback in the Boston Vigil article. Don't train them to fall back on meanaingless semantics, superficial crutches and aids with which to face life. That's cruel and useless. Life is tough. Get used to it. Teach them (and yourselves) to get over themselves You're not the only ones here. There was a terrible murder. Grow from it don't wallow in self pity. In Nir and Liz's memory that's what you have to do.
15. Reuven # 10
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.07.09)
The American Psychiatric association issued a statement that the APA OPPOSES any psychiatric treatement such as.....wich is based upon the assumption that homosexuality is a mental disorder . So your .....must attempt to suppress .....is completely wrong . But knowing your ideas , .......

Point three : For true homosexuals it's NOT a lifestyle , it's in their "flesh" . And this everyone HAS to ACCEPT , you can't change this . A poll released yesterday : 47 % , of Israelis think that homosexuality is NOT a perversion
