1. misfire death?
Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (08.09.09)
you will not post my comment for sure seems Huzballah made the IDF halucinate after the last painful war, IDF started shooting each other, if IDF continue like that, soon will be no more IDF to fight Huzballah
2. an accident he should not be seriously punished for
zionist forever   (08.09.09)
What happened was a terrible tragedy but its wrong to charge the soldier with a criminal offense because there was no motive to harm here it was an accident as a result of negligence. If he is found negligent then possibly a fine, demotion and some form of small punishment to be chosen by a military court but not a serious criminal offense thats going to see him going to jail for a long time. Lets not forget that he has to live with the knowladge he killed somebody by accident for the rest of his life. Whilst we can mourn for the dead we have to consider the future of the living.
3. A discouraging sign

How many more unnecessary deaths by incompetence and negligence of young soldiers do we need before people become reluctant to allow their children to serve? Where are the leaders who should be looking after the cream of Israeli youth? Were they also sitting in their ivory tower like a former chief of staff concerned more about his stock than the soldiers that were killed as cannon fodder in the second Lebanon War?
