1. What they want exactly ? ? ?
AlbertoGA ,   St. George, USA   (08.11.09)
War , Peace not at all. What they want it all the Jews into the Sea and Israel on a silver plater. Nice No ? What Bibi should tell the SOB ... Go to Hell and stay there.
2. We know them
Albert   (08.11.09)
These names are familiar to us. They are the usual gang of corrupt, incompetent liars that have been there since the beginning of the "peace process"
3. Fatah and Hamas.
Ron B.   (08.11.09)
The main difference between Fatah and Hamas is that Fatah has a faction within that appears to be interested in negotiating peace with Israel, while Hamas is unanimous in its refusal to engage. Still, there are fewer differences than the mainstream media would have us believe. The charters of both Hamas and Fatah openly call for the destruction of Israel. Both groups have been consistently responsible for terrorist attacks against Israel. And both appear to be willing to let the Palestinian people suffer as the struggle continues for control of the Palestinian territories. More at : http://xrl.us/bju8k
4. Mr. Albert # 2
Palestinian ,   Jerusalem   (08.11.09)
Hay man, you have the same gang in Israel ... Olmert, Liberman ... Shas leaders ..... US Rabbis. So don't worry ... our leaders and your leaders can speak the same language
5. Does Anyone Really Care?
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (08.11.09)
The outcome will be the same anyway. The Palestinians will find a way to screw it up.
6. Pop a zit.
Ypip ,   Canada   (08.11.09)
7. Can Fatah become less corrupt? That's the test.
JPS ,   Efrat   (08.11.09)
Ask any Palestinian in the street how much faith they have in Fatah, and they'll most likely look down their nose at you and scoff. Fatah may be the big "revolutionary" movement, but it's about as corrupt and decrepit as the old USSR. The biggest test for Rajoub, Dahlan, et al is to drag themselves and their organization into the 1970s. We'll leave the 21st century for later. Fatah is corrupt. It's an old boys club, where cronyism and nepotism rule. Reform has nothing to do with Israel, and everything to do with Fatah: make budgets, stick to them, have transparent accounting, bring in the missing Palestinian constitution (which went awol 10 years ago), bring in law and order, build stability and the economy, put Palestinians to work. That will get them the votes to get a solid majority government and a solid bargaining position with Israel. For now, Fatah is simply far too weak to solve their own problems and make peace.
8. NEW CANON FODDER... SAME OLD ROT!
stude ham   (08.11.09)
like... can the leopard change its spots??? probably just as much as fatah and hams can ever heal their rift. what a bunch of self-deluding fools happen to be all of these remnants of the occupying arab invaders ...
9. Palestinian soil?
Adam ,   Raanana   (08.11.09)
I thought this was a news article not a fantasy piece
10. If YNet can't get it straight why will the rest of the world
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (08.11.09)
It is disputed territory not occupied. Learn your history and UN resolutions.
11. MORE TERRORISTS WITH SUITS FUNDED BY THE STATE DEPT.
FATAH = HAMAS   (08.11.09)
12. What they want
Avi Bar-Moshe ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.11.09)
What they want is an end to the occupation and a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders. If Israel is willing to give that in peace negotiations we can have peace. If not, we will have war. Very simple.
13. and when
(08.11.09)
will Israel replace its old guard by a new one?
14. @12
(08.11.09)
you are not avi bar moshe, but rather an abu barra masha. please , note that you failed as a poser.
15. #12 - Avi, You forgot the Right of Return
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (08.11.09)
The Arabs want to flood us with millions of Lebanese, Syrian and Egyptian-born "refugees" (whose ancestors came from those countries to begin with, for the most part) as a means of tipping the demographic balance in favor of destroying Israel by voting it out of existence. The entire conflict has never been about land- it's always been about destroying the only non-Muslim country in the Middle East along with its non-Muslim inhabitants. Very simple...
16. To #4
Albert   (08.11.09)
Good point.
17. what will come resolve the PLO and start an army revolution
saher ,   west bank   (08.11.09)
its the only way, fateh has lost here way since the negotiations begun, most of the cental members are hawkish fateh and abu mazen its time to release the hands for other choices at least you will prove something , we used to live like this we dont have any think to lose but they did , their life abbas be a man and do it and get the respect of your ppl
18. What the Arabs want is a non-issue
Radka ,   Athens, Greece   (08.11.09)
The issue is how they are going to achieve what they want. Destroy Israel? They and what army? The mighty Hamas? Hizbullah perhaps? What are they going to do? Hide in their bunkers some more? Make some fiery speeches? Hold their breath until Israel caves in and satisfies all their demands? Sheesh. 60 years on Israelis still think they're facing the Wehrmacht and Arabs still think pies are gonna fall from the sky for them because they, like, deserve it.
