C'mon women. Did you really expect your male dominated society to allow equality for women. Men in general have problems with it ( look at the governments all over the world) BUT Islam is one of the worst in terms of the role of women. If a Palestinian state is, G-d forbid, ever formed you better start looking for your long black robe and face cover!
