I understand people in Israel being blinded by immersion in their own country's 'story'. But Jewish people worldwide also always seem to either remain silent or rush blindly to defend this oppressive State. No matter what.
I personally do not conflate world Jewish opinion with Zionist opinion. I don't believe there's any such thing as World Jewish opinion. However I do understand how there are some people now failing to make that distinction.
In the end, for me, the real question is why are liberal assimiliationist Jewish Americans silent?
The real libel is that Israel's catalog of disgrace is being perceived increasingly as belonging to all Jews.
When the moronic US right turns to look at how Israel has led the US by the nose, do you not fear that they too will then fail to see the distinction between Jewish Americans and Zionists?
What record will there be of Jewish Americans having been loyal to the US?
Do you not fear that an upsurge in real anti-semitism will ensue?
Do you not realize that this is precisely what extreme Zionists wish? To usurp your good staning in the US? Just as they deliberately sought to do with assimiliationists in Europe in earlier decades?
