after more than 100 years of war from the arabs... what exactly are these twin mubarak years supposed to accomplish?

First step is to prove their ernestness by stop terrorizing others, including the "Palestinians". Had they not been abused, tormented, and kept poverty-stricken, unemployed and bullied by their own internal as well as external powers-that-be (whether you call it Hamas, Iran, Syria, Al Qayda, etc. wtv), there would be no Arab-Israeli conflict. Just look how many billions were poured into Gaza for nought. Had they channeled that money towards peace-targeted education, jobs, and development of the area rather than wasting it on arms and training more and more terrorists with only "Jihad" on the mind, they would have had their State and prosperity decades ago.

It doesn't take much for the Arabs to fool the gullible and naive in the US and the EU. They just have to repeat peace,occupation and 2 states to try and get concessions and that's their game in a nutshell.

Obama mentions land swam/exchange while Mubarak speaks of "pre '67 borders"; they are not the same so Obama and Mubarak refer to different contradictory results. Pre-67 "borders" as in 1948 ? or 1919 ? Mubarak afraid of Iran and talks with bravado considering he wants his son to take power while restraining his Muslim Brotherhood. how does Pal state include Gaza which fatah lost to haqms ??

Barak and Mubarak are 2 different enteties. Barak is a sonei yisrael whereas Mubarak s on Israel's side.

I am all for a "return to pre-1967 borders" - when will Egypt start to enforce law and order on its Gaza region? When will Egypt take responsibility humanitarian conditions for the Egyptian Arabs living in Gaza? When will Egypt take financial and electrical responsibility for the Egyptian Arabs living in Gaza?

All this talk about peace is nothing and has no meaning,especially when the Ishmaelites and the Edomites have been pushing to eradicate the Children of Israel for thousands of years and haven't truly succeeded in arriving at their goal. But they will keep trying;by hook or by crook. Any one who has studied history will see all the work that has been put in to meet the goal;Israel has no right to exist as a state and neither do the children of Israel have any right to exist. We gave territiories away and got suicide bombers in return. Mubarrak is playing around with a phantasy. When will we realize that we have got nothing. When we will stop duping ourselves into believing false statements given by Ishmaelite leaders?

Egyptians, who have had a very large country for many many years. Or does he mean like the Copts in Egyptians who live in a garbage dump full of plastic bottles. Since when does having land/country ever mean a better life for Arabs? Wait a minute, he must mean like South Africans who now control a very large country and still live in tin shacks and poverty. Obama went to visit the whabis twice in two months. He went to Egypt where he gave a speech agreeing with the arab claims that if there had been no holocaust Israel would never have been and as a direct result of Israels creation palestinians have suffered. Now Mubarak has come to Washington to help Obama some more in his drafting of a plan which will be imposed onto Israel. The idea of border swaps isn't going to work because the palestinians have said they won't trade for land in the Negev which is all thats on offer. They will also not go along with any ideas to trade land for parts of Israel dominated by Israeli arabs. If Bibi or even tried to divide Jerusalem it would be the end of him so there is no way he will agree to divide the city no matter how much Obama demands it. Bibi is more interested in his own job than pleasing Obama. Also what happens if an Israeli PM said in principle I am willing to accept this idea but Knesset makes the final decission and the Knesset voted aganst it? Will Obama say I don't believe in democracy if it conflicts with my demands and I demand Jerusalem is either divided or putting the entire city into international hands which is something he seems to have been looking into? Also what if we say ok two year deadline but then things break down and two years comes and goes what will Obama do then? In two years Obama will be a lame duck president on the campaign trail in the hope of reelection it would be political suicide to take time out in an election year to beat Israel into submission so the two state deadline can be met and he can have his legacy. Obama has not involved Israel in this process from the start he has been working out the fine details with the arabs and just sending envoys to Israel to tell the government what he now demands Israel do or else. The muslim president is a disgusting anti semite who supports apartheid by telling jews where they are or are not allowed to live in their own country. The sooner he is gone the better the world will be.

I've got news for Mubarak. The so-called pre-1967 border was not a border, but an armistice line. If that line was so sacred, why did the Arabs go to war in 1967 anyway. Hasn't anyone heard about the consequences of war. If the Arabs had managed to push the Israelis into the sea, were they planning on returning to the pre-1967 armistice line. I don't think so. What they're advocating seems to be a case of heads, I win, tails, you lose.
