Arie ,   BaGolan   (08.20.09)
Start with the discriminatory practices of schools attacking Ethiopian Jews, and then follow that with removing funding from the 5th column arab schools that openly promote the State's demise in places like Yaffo and the Galilee!
2. NOT RACIST !( A LITTLE KNOWN FACT)
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (08.20.09)
WE SAY THE TORAH IS TEMIMAH.IT SHOULD THEREFORE BE READ ALOUD ONLY ONE WAY.THIS IS UNFORTUNATELY NOT SO.THE PRONOUNCIATION ALLOWS FOR CERTAIN GRAMMATICAL DISCREPENCIES,WHICH TO SEPHARDI AND ASHKENASI CHANGE THE MEANING.FOR THIS REASON,THE RAMBAM ADVOCATES GOING TO ONE"S RESPECTIVE SYNAGOGUE WHEN THE "TORAH" IS READ.IF WE GO BY HIS OPINION,WHEN CHILDREN LEARN "TORAH"THEY CANNOT DO THIS IF THE SCHOOL IS OF THE SEPHARDI ESTABLISHMENT,OR OF THE ASHKENASI ONE.,WHICH THERFORE "RUBS AGAINST THE GRAIN ".THE UP-SHOT OF ALL THIS IS ,THAT THE CHILD SHOULD BE ADMITTED TO THE SCHOOL,WHICH UP-HOLDS HIS COMMUNITY"S TRADITIONS....CHECK ME OUT !
3. Religious Schoold in Petach Tikva
Spencer ,   israel   (08.20.09)
Those religious scholls in Petach Tikvak who don't abide by the education Ministry's directives should have their funds blocked and any member of the PTA who calls for the students and parents to strike should be removed from office.
4. Right On
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot, israel   (08.20.09)
All schools that do not meet standards should be denied government funding. The standards should also specify minimum circular, such as Math & History for example.
5. It's the so called private schools
hear ye   (08.20.09)
and that's been their visiting card, their 'degel' . What values the private schools instil....not. Morasha has done so much as it's a decent school, and it's middle name isn't 'elitist'. You get what you pay for .. literally, and that's nothing to be proud of, in this case.
