1. They really are morons
Zvi   (08.21.09)
The US offers a nuclear umbrella to try to get Israel to decommission its nuclear weapons, something that the Arab world purportedly wants (though in reality it simply isn't important to Arab leaders because they know Israel can be trusted not to use them), and these propaganda-spouting dopes are so strung out on the reality-warping drugs of their anti-Semitism and anti-US paranoia that they see it as a diabolical plan to get them to (horror of horrors) interact with Israel, which unlike certain other regimes in the region does not plot to destabilize or destroy them or to carry out acts of terrorism in their sovereign territory. Yeah, horror of horrors, that Israelis and Arabs should "shelter in the same foxhole" in the event that Iran threatens them with nuclear weapons. Bigotry should really be the first priority under such circumstances. Sure. NOT!!!
2. Zvi, no surprise here, Arbs are suicidal

this is what I have repeatedly said and wrote
3. Israeli-egyptian “peace treaty”.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (08.21.09)
Technically, Israel has peace with Egypt, and many point to this treaty are seen as a great accomplishment which enabled an end to war. It should be noted, however, that Israel has not been to war with Syria in equally as long, despite the lack of such a treaty. Is it really a piece of paper that prevented war, or more likely is it the inability to wage war successfully at this time? It is reasonable to ask what the treaty with Egypt is worth—and more to the point how long it can last—when men like Mohammed el-Katatny of Mubarak’s National Democracy Party openly declare “Nothing will work with Israel except for a nuclear bomb that wipes it out of existence.” To know more :
5. Woe to then that go down to Egypt for HELP
SAM   (08.21.09)
Isaiah 31 verse 1 said this and verse 3 said (Now the Egyptians are man not God and their horses are flesh not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both they that helpth shall fall and he that holpen shall fall down, and they shall fail together. Therefor be wise BIBI
6. How about this?
NYC Girl   (08.21.09)
We tell Mubarak...No nuclear umbrella...No $2.5 billion/year welfare check from American taxpayers. There are far too many hard-working people in this country who are without jobs these days. So in view of that unfortunate reality, Obama can probably find something better to do with the money than send it to Egypt...only to have Hosni Mubarak turn around and spit in our faces.
Dave ,   USA   (08.21.09)
Actually now that your mentioning we should also re consider the 3 billion something israel receives from our tax payer money each year. Good idea.

It would be a good idea if it weren't for the fact that the money we give Israel primarily goes toward defense and has to be spent in this country. So it isn't likely that American workers in the defense industry are going to support your point of view. Not only that, but like all the others who labor under the mistaken notion that our aid to Israel is a one way street, consider the fact that Israel shares intelligence, it's technical know-how, and supports the U.S. in the UN more than any other country. I mean do you really think the Israelis give a shit about our embargo of Cuba? They vote with us in a show of solidarity, as opposed to the Egyptians whose state-owned media spews out some of the most vitriolic anti-American propaganda in the Middle East...which, for all we know, helped to inspire those Egyptian hijackers on 9/11. But what's 3,000 dead Americans compared to that money we give to the evil Israelis?
9. Who cares if they are ruled by iran
