1. Chose life - zehoo! What huey "deeper divine consciousness "
Josh   (09.02.09)
This article made me cringe. It is a green light for sinners. An enabler. There is only one way to say "never again" and that is to chose life. Like the fools that called the titanic unsinkable, the very Jews (not all) who chose death rather than chose life say peace peace be unto me and say to G-d never again will chose death curses happen. That the evil man will be promoted higher and higher as we sink lower and lower in our chose death choices? Torah counterdicts this thought - like it or not. It is our choice. Since when does this not repeat in history? There is no magic etheirial kabbalistic energy falgging about to be captured like a butterfly to give you all your aladin wishes. On G-d. And to do such butterfky chasing for "good things" is spatting in His face and afirming what we all know. It is simply CHOSE LIFE. A decision to do Torah and love G-d is all. Nothing more and nothing less. In that love all other good things will come via the blessings, including a people that is worthy of being loved by his fellow man and capable of loving another.
2. "Eastern religions .. have the monopoly ..
Christy ,   Boston, US   (09.02.09)
on spirituality in the Western world?" I don't think this is true in the US. Perhaps it is in Europe? Seems to me that there IS a Judaism-inspired spiritual awakening going on in the US. G_d is moving among His People. People are able to proclaim "Am Yisrael Chai" because the G_d of Israel lives and reigns. This is very exciting!
3. Holocaust
R. Melamed ,   NY   (09.04.09)
Outside of Israel, another holocaust is taking place: the Silent Holocaust. Most of the Jewish people will disappear through assimilation, intermarriage and low birthrates. Only the Orthodox will still be Jewish outside of Israel.

5. I'm so proud of my Jewish state

This article was classic, I really liked the interpretation of the topic. We must always be aware of our threats and act with caution. I trust my PM Netanyahu to protect my people, I truly salute him!
