Lots of newspapers in the US, UK, France, Israel, arab states and many other countries have said before Israel is going to be attacking Iran. I will believe it when I see it and we won't see it as long as DOH bama insists there should be no deadlines for diplomacy. Also thanks to the US X Band radar in the Negev which the US pick up just about anything in the skies over Israel so there can be no going it alone like in 1981 and the first thing the Americans hear about it is after the job is done. If they don't want Israel to do it they will detect the Israeli jets a long way beyond Israels national borders even if they are flying bellow conventional radar and DOH bama will be informed and he will just order Israel to order its jets to return to base and cancel the mission because it will harm his chances of reaching a diplomatic agreement. So until its confirmed there has been an attack I won't be taking to much notice of what anybodies newspapers have to say.

While they were busy with disastrous invasion of Iraq, Iran & N'Korea did as they pleased. They had no fear of U.S. Now Obama has a big mess on his hands everywhere he looks!

The whole Middle East, the UK, EU, and especially the US need to be shaken up. They're living in a fools' paradise of half-measures and temporary efforts. I'm afraid the only way for the situation to get better is for it first to get far, far worse, and an Israeli attack would do the job. The predicted consequences, such as a severe shortage of oil, would wake the people of the Western countries up to the fact that they must enforce a settlement of issues in the area.

the israeli strategy is to get the americans/NATO to do this, but if they won't, to do it themselves (less desirable). i think you very much misunderstand the israeli mindset if you think that israel will *not* attack iran. if the iranians resort to attacking american interests in response, that will end up being suicide for them (and what israel will be praying for). they will not likely do it, rather they will activate hezbollah against israel and probably use non conventional means through hezbollah.
