I am an Israeli American. I love the land of Israel and am often proud of the State of Israel. Nonetheless, here is a true story about Zionist organ harvesting: when my father (born and raised in Israel) was in his 30s in the 1970s, his father lay dying in a Jerusalem hospital. At that time, the Israeli doctors would take organs without informing the family unless the family explicitly filled out certain forms prohibitting organ harvesting. A woman sat next to her dying father in the bed next to my grandfather's. My father told the woman, who looked observant, that if she did not want her father's organs harvested she should take affirmative action by filling out specific forms, otherwise, they will be harvested. A doctor overheard my father giving this advice to the woman, became enraged at the fact that he was losing organs and in cruel and abusive language, threatened to throw my grieving father out of the hosptial so that my grandfather would die alone. This is a true story. Is it then such a stretch that these same secular doctors who see themselves as little gods will take organs from the enemy?
