1. Would someone shut Livni up - she's a hypocrit
Nour ,   Palestine   (09.07.09)
Thousands of settlers invaded the West Bank /Palestine right under her nose. Where was her conscience? Digusting politics.
2. then stop all building in gaza and jordan, then, fairs fair.
kate b ,   uk   (09.07.09)
I think people are missing the issue. The original issue was a homeland for the Jewish Palstinians and one for the Arab Palestinians - 2 states for 2 peoples. One people has their state, the Jews are trying to the little they have left as theirs. People keep forgetting that the ARab Pals keep grabbing land and building on it, first transjordan, now Jordan with its capital, then gaza and they distract everyone by shouting and screaming and crying to stop people investigating the truth, not to mention all the Biblical places that Arab Pals have been stolen, presently it's judea and samaria (west bank). I think it would help to be fair. Jews can only not build if there is no building in transjordan (now Jordan) and gaza. And those with any knowledge of Torah, or if you are of any Abrhamic faith and believe G*d can't change then you will well know that eretz cannot be sold to non-Jews as a)it's breaking a mitzvah and b) the stranger who won;'t keep the mitzvah, nor recognise YY won't prosper on the land.

MUCH THANKS TO ISRAEL ADMINISTRATION FOR PUTTING ISRAELS’ INTEREST FIRST. ALWAYS, DOT NOT LET THE OUT-SIDE IFLUENCE/PRESSURE CONTROL AND GORVERN YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES. YOU HAVE MANY (IMPORTANT) FRIEDS APART FROM “CURRENT” USA ADMINISTRATION.
4. Eventually
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.07.09)
Eventually ISRAEL will have to stand up to the International Community. Why keep putting it off when it only gets harder to do later ? Weak leadership with no backbone is Israel's greatest problem. Either there is the Holy One of Israel and His laws surpass 'international' Law or not. Choose ye this day whom you will serve. Obey Him and forget about the international rebels . He will take care of all of them !
5. To: No. 1

Invaded? Invaded? Excuse me. It was Jordan who attacked Israel in 1967. Naturally, Israel fought back, and beat back the Jordanian army and thus acquired the West Bank. Land acquired while fighting a defensive war, as Israel did against Jordan in 1967, is Israel's to keep and to settle. I suggest you read the Hague Second and Third Conventions. You are living in a dream world. The Palestinians will never have anything unless and until they recognize reality for what it is. Attacking Israel in 1967 was a mistake, which even King Hussein acknowledged many times. But it is what it is, and the West Bank belongs to Israel, under all recognized international conventions. Some mistakes, Nour, just cannot be undone, no matter how much you wish and how much terror you utilize. Terrorism has not served the Palestinians. It is time for you to move on with your lives. Somewhere other than Eretz Israel. Tick tock.
6. Demanding only of Jews not to build in disputed territories
Gil   (09.07.09)
is a form of racism. It is time people of goodwill, liberals and progressive people realized that asking Jews, only because they are Jewish, to contain the size of their families, not to mary and bring children to the world so as to limit the number of needed housing for them in territories whose final status is yet to be determined is a form of anti-Jewish racism that must cease. Sadly, the person who heads these demands considers himself liberal and anti-racist... but of course when it comes to Jews.

"I would support a proper process," she added. "I announce that we as an opposition would support what is proper. As of now, the (government's) conduct is very problematic, and testifies to the fact that no process or path have been chosen." We know what your definition of a "proper process" is Livni, a division of Jerusalem and giving away 97% of the land, and recognition of the right of return. Bibi may be a weasel, it it certainly is better to have a weasel in office than an arab like Tzipi Livni.

The Foreign Minister just sets foot in Kenya and all the Kahanists come out of the bush
9. Keep building Jewish neighborhoods
alan ,   Texas   (09.07.09)
Its Israel's land. If the Arabs want a piece of it, let them come to the table with something concrete. Meanwhile keep building so the Arabs and the world see that 1. Israel is a sovereign nation and 2. the longer the Arabs delay peace, the less thay may have to negotiate.
10. A full freeze or no freeze but this has everyone angry
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, USA   (09.07.09)
I could understand a full freezing of building since that would help with US goals and international pressure or no freeze, as that would help settlers and supporters. But this token measure that keeps alittle building going while a freeze is call, just makes everyone angry. The problem with being in the middle is you get hit by both sides.
11. It is only a TEMPORARY inconvenience, there will be NO
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.07.09)
meaningful peace talks, fart-ah and ham-ass won't let that happen, they need their "VICTIM" status too badly.
12. About rights and legitimacy.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (09.07.09)
The “Mandate for Palestine” granted Jews the irrevocable right to settle anywhere in Palestine, the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, a right unaltered in international law and valid to this day. Jewish settlements in Judea, Samaria (the West Bank), Gaza and the whole of Jerusalem are legal. In fact, when you think about it, the major question is: where should the Palestinian arabs be resettled? that and the need for Israel to stand firm and look out for its own interests for a change.
